Assembled SuperCow on an appropriate base for undercoating. SuperCow won the battle of monsters for the last chariot base I had.

After an impressive couple of months, I think I'm going to miss all my targets this time around! I've just not had so much free time - things like my brother's wedding, or my wife dragging me out places. The Rangers are mostly done, but I still need to finish off the silver metal, fletching, gems and bases: I haven't touched the Runesmiths at all this month, so they're definitely not happening.

sedge rangers look good! Impressive amount at the same time! I never do more than five at a time. It keeps me motivated better Sometimes you miss, and sometimes you start new projects as long as you don't stop painting everything works.

So how does the Supercow eat? (I like everything about that model except the tusks)
Rangers look promising. Do the great weapon guys rank up properly?

Rangers look promising. Do the great weapon guys rank up properly? Not particularly well, but once I've finished them I'll rank them up and post some decent photos. I reckon if I numbered them for places in the unit, I could get it to work, but that sounds like too much effort, when I could be painting more dwarves...

I really like those rangers....they have a certain gnomish appeal to them.

SuperCow does suffer from a severe case of "Thundertusk syndrome" Im going to say that SuperCow is a talented omnivore and uses its ridiculous tusks as spoon/knife/chopsticks/shears all-in-one supertool to get whatever it's eating into a suitable mush.....it then manoeuvers its mouth as close as possible to its prepared meal and hoovers up what it can. Also...as it's a figure of legend and inspiration to the Beastmen they feed it.... it's really the only reason SuperCow associates such creatures. SuperCow is just looking for an easy feed and will hoover up any ungor who get too close but don't feed it.

Those are some good-lookin' Beastmen you've got there, GMW! I'll have to keep those in mind if I ever decide to start a Beastmen army!
Sorry, I've not posted much progress this month. I just got back from a very busy vacation for the past week. Things should be getting back to normal for me now, though, I still have lots of catching up to do (grass needs cutting, etc...). Hopefully, I'll be able to return to my painting again soon.

So with a late rush, I managed to get the Rangers finished - I've still failed with the Runesmiths (again), but I'm glad I'll have pumped out another infantry unit for my Dwarves. They can just about, kind of, messily rank up, if you spend a lot of time fiddling around with their layout.
