I think that looked like a Mierce Miniatures Manticore working in conjunction with a Great Taurus which is lovely to see.

The Taurus was subbing in for a forgotten Dark Pegasus! Thanks for the Army compliment!

That looked like a painful one!! Are you going to do up a full batrep? Not sure I have the patience to write one up... we’re talking about filming some games, and going that way.

Ok, decision time. We’re starting a build up campaign, and I cannot decide between a goblin army or dwarves. The goblins are 80% built and primed. So it would be just grab and paint for the majority of models. The dwarves would be build and paint. The goblins would be wacky fun to play, just not sure I can handle losing most of the time. 😕 Dwarves would be fun and competitive. Ugh. Thoughts??

I had the same decision last year, and went for the Dwarves as they're quicker to paint (both in terms of each model taking less time, and needing less models overall).

I would go for dwarfs if you don't field a gun line.

Would another consideration be how quickly you want to get them on the field ? As you say your goblins just need painting. Though as its a build up campaign would be funnier to be building up units in conjunction with other members of the campaign, so dwarfs would be better. Though this is coming from someone building up a dwarf army at the moment.

So it’s like a tale 3 Wargamers! 500 points each month until we get to 2,500 points. We’ll do a map campaign in conjunction with it. I paint and build relatively quickly, so it’s really just a flavor choice..... I just cannot decide! Ranks of Dwarves with their war machines or masses of Gobbos with critters.... plus gives me the excuse to buy more plastic crack- the new Night Goblin models are cool.....

Dwarves definitely, IMO. I have bad dreams about WoC. Ogres are tough of course too. Might be useful to have some hard ass beardies!
