They've put the "Forgotten Realms" boxes up for pre-order on their website, with a release date of October this year: fireforge-games.com/forgotten-world-46?Promising, as it means my late pledge should have shipped by then.

The Northmen with the Albion Knights would make a good Bret army! Just need someone to make an alternative Damsel model that I like!

My stuff finally arrived today. I've got most of next week off, so it looks like I'll be building it then.

I too will be building / painting shortly!

I know theres a folk rabble coming from fireforge(when im not sure, but do you think that the zombie peasant box could be converted to living peasants without too much difficulty?

I had a look over the sprues yesterday, and I wouldn't think so. Most the torsos have inwards turned feet, you've got chunks of flesh missing on arms, legs, necks and heads (and the heads are very dead) and most the arms aren't in a naturally "live" position. At best, you'd do a load of work to end up with a seriously ill looking bunch of peasants.
The next of their (infrequent) updates on the kickstarter is supposed to be telling people what's going on with the folk rabble box. I'd expect it relatively soon - I was one of the very last late pledges, so they should be pretty much done on delivering most the kickstarter pledges and able to move onto the peasants.

Here's a pic of the free heroes I got. Just glued, need to fill the gaps and smooth out mould lines 😊

Sedge, are these heroic scale? Thinking of mixing fireforge knight crusader style bodies with GW greatsword arms to make Bret questing knights. From what you've seen do you think it would be viable?

I'm not sure it'd work. I've only briefly seen the FFG historical models in person at Salute, but I think you'd end up with big arms and a massive weapon looking completely outsized on some rather dainty models.

It looks like all the regular kits from the Kickstarter are now up for sale on the FF Games webstore, so anyone who missed out can now get hold of them. They've also given an update on the folk rabble kit: /posts/2690487 No idea what I'd use them for, but I definitely want to order some of these when they're out.

Empire free company, bretonnia pilgrims/peasants and kitbashing all look promising from these sprues

If there are ones that look downtrodden a la Les Miserables, could have some good uses as alternative skaven slaves etc to vary units up.
