I was thinking does anybody have experience mounting the new kits on appropriate square bases and how do they fit? I would be mos interested on hearing especially if the Rockgut Troggoths can actually fit on 40mm bases. On GW site the specify that they come on 50mm bases and looking at the pics they might be a rough fit (spilling way over) on 40mm bases.
Based on what i've seen at least the Dankhold Troggoth can fit nicely on the giants 75x50 base
The new squig hoppers might be tight fit to make a nice rank if mounted on 20mm bases, maybe even on 25's.. Any experience on these?

I've not done the squig hoppers personally, but I've seen them fit easily on 20mm bases. They work particularly well since they are skirmishers. I'm not sure how well they rank up once they make it to combat, though.

From what I've seen, most of the stuff that had 8th Ed equivalents are suspiciously sized well for squares.

I really want to get 3 boxes of these Squigs. They're something that I've put off for nearly a decade because I didn't like the price point for only 5 models (2 of which were mere Night Goblins!) I just have to raise the money now....quadruplets are expensive.

New manglers fit on 40mm's (to be used as Gorgers) - but I doubt this will be their normal use XD They'll obviously fit on 60m rounds... Maybe you could use pictures of the stone trolls next to the new manglers to see if they would fit?

Maybe you could use pictures of the stone trolls next to the new manglers to see if they would fit? Hmm, that would give me an indication.. If you have the stone trolls may I bother you to take that shot or measure the feet? Have to say those new manglers look the business..

No new trolls, sorry - but maybe this pic and my previous one together may help?

No new trolls, sorry - but maybe this pic and my previous one together may help? I think It does - also i forgot that I do not need to glue them down all sideways like pictured here with their feet pointing at me - If I glue them on the bases slightly side tilted I'll have more space 'cos the hypotenuse of these 40mm bases is ~5,65cm which is enough perhaps to make'em look not so out of place oon that small thing..

One of the chaps on FB posted the normal squigs on squares mixed in with some of the classics. I questioned him on them and he said they all ranked fine. Some had to go diagonally onto the base to fit on due to the wide leg stance and also because of that, it meant the older squigs with long tails would rank up well with them as it left enough of a gap to fit the tail over lapping.
