Those all metal flying scarabs make me tremble.... What would it be like to transport them and play with them??!! This is officially my new favorite thread. I have no worry for that, they are on a metal rod so no chance of casually breaking And all my models have transport foam so they are safe enough for moving around.

Thanks KevinC, glad you like it And here's the rest of the special units. Special Units - Part BTomb Guards unit 1 - Mummies (using them as Tomb Guards with Halberd). This unit is due for an overhaul, as I acquired more to make a horde of 50, and some touch up to do here and there; Tomb Guards unit 2 - Old metal Tomb Guards. Painting infantry bore me, hence the half-done unit; Tomb Guards unit 3 - Plastic Tomb Guards; Ushabti - A full metal horde of them; The two command models; I converted four of them with extra hand weapon, mostly for variety as I don't think I'll play them with that option. They also help when ranking them in the horde with their shorter weapon, so that's another bonus; Ushabti with bow - Added a 7th guy as a banner at some point, might need to find one more to have 8. Hard to see in this pic but the second rank is 3 regular (Finecast) Ushabti that I got for cheap so I gave them bow too; I think that's it for my special units guys! Next time will be the rare choices

Tomb guard look great. I love the oop mummy unit.
The Hordeshabti look awesome all together. Lovely conversion for the angel wing champion. He really stands out.

I have gone through the seven cycles of jealous grief - 1). I was impressed. 2). Then I wanted to imitate a few of your projects. 3). Then I got depressed that my Tomb Kings will never look as good as yours. 4). Steps 4 through 6 involved a shame spiral, comparing my painted stuff to your painted stuff, and then me drinking Jameson and pretending to fly around on one of your giant Tomb Scarabs / Carrion. 7). Then I saw a horde of 18 Ushabti, and realized we can be friends again.
Also, old school 1999 pewter Mummies FTW. A HORDE of 50 old school mummies? Damn Gina. You win Tomb Kings.

Imo the Necrosphinx kit is one of the best GW has done. Certainly one of my favorite kits.
Your Heirotitan conversion is a testament to the versatility of the kit!
Lovely rares. The trio of bone giants are bery nice.

Very cool colourscheme, the green and gold works really well on TK and that Hierotitan build is truely epic!

Thanks guys! Now that I've photographed my TK, I may turn around and do my VC. Still have a few things to do before I start taking pictures, but that might probably what I'll share next

Now that I've started working on my own TK army, this is definitely one of my favorite threads! Great work! Is that Titan completely from the Sphinx box?

Great work! Is that Titan completely from the Sphinx box? that's what I want to know too. I have the sneaking suspicion some serious skill was involved and it went beyond gluing together random leftover bits. It looks really awesome!
