was really keen for a slayer with the crushers, but agree from what I've seen, as you say they are killy enough as is

All sound advice gang, thank's so much! The canons I can ask my group and see, I don't want anything crazy bent. Is the deathstrike one a tamer choice?? I would go hell canon, but it looks meh. I think a chariot would be cool! I can have both and just switch them out based on what I fancy then, gives me some more options I think a big bus of knights looks baller though, so maybe a unit of 10 for a 3k expansion! I have no problems with the Chaos Dwarfs (I may be biased though lol) and prefer to see them in a WOC list than broken Daemon Prince builds. That said, I think 2 Magma Cannons is a bit much as the Magma Cannon is a great war machine. 1 wound be fine but some people may take issue with 2 and it makes it seem like you are list building for 'advantage' rather than theme/fun. The Death Rocket isn't considered as powerful as the Magma Cannon so if you went 1 Magma Cannon and 1 Death Rocket it would allow you to add in some cool Chaos Dwarf artillery/units and also save you 45 points and the potential ire that 2 Magma Cannons can bring. People don't particularly like seeing 2 Magma Cannons in a Chaos Dwarf LOA army let alone a WOC army! Welcome to the forum. Warhammer Fantasy lives on!

You could make the jugger hero a bsb (give him an enchanted shield because every cannon in the game will be aiming for him and that way only the second cannon ball will kill him.) I would put him with the warriors. The skullcrushers don't need help and this way he would be in the middle where the blood flows freely. Just the way khorne likes it. Charmed Shield, not Enchanted Shield.

You indirectly make some good arguments against using Chaos Dwarves in WoC. Isn’t the consensus that CD infantry is overpriced while their War Machines are underpriced? Somehow balancing the army out. Well, if you replace the overpriced infantry with fairly priced infantry. I’m really not sold on including CD. But as pointed out, the list is fair enough (no Daemon Prince, unkillable lord,...) to not be the most OP list. So talk about this with your playgroup and see how they feel.

Well a Hellcannon is fully legit Warriors of Chaos and it is definitely not "meh" in terms of performance. There is actually a thread comparing them to the other Chaos Dwarf war machines in the tactica section eefl.freeforums.net/thread/1613/poll-dreadquake-mortar-hellcannonThey are actually quite unique monster-war machine hybrids

And yeah, not into power gaming or being competitive at all, that's part of why I left 40k for 30k and just thought it would be cool

Warriors: Don’t mix anything but Hand Weapon with shields. GW are great, but you are not allowed to strike with GW but defend with HW + Shield.
It’s basicly HW + shield for better armour saves, Halbert for more Strength, and GW for even more strength but as a downside you get ASL. AHW for more attacks but Thats mostly a thing for Khorne warriors

They are situationally better than each other but take a bolt thrower or cannonball hit for example.....no armor save, the 2+ armor save is completely ignored whereas the 2+ against that single high powered hit could save an expensive life for a low points outlay.

AHW for more attacks but Thats mostly a thing for Khorne warriors I'm agree with everything here 100% from a combat perspective but would like to add that the shields still help against shooting and ranged direct damage spells so aren't entirely useless. I once played against an amazing looking chaos army where the warriors had great weapons and had shields strapped to their back so can certainly appreciate the option from an army look/theme point of view.

And unless you have points to spend don’t put shield (don’t think you did) on Khorne marked warriors as frenzy removes the ability to parry anyway9still get the +1 AS though.

No, jut shields on the Nurgle guys with my sorcerer in. The idea that they are more of a holding frontline with the khorne more aggresive
