I repainted this brute. I like the green warpstone look much more. I like the glowing green. Do you have a picture of what it looked like before the repaint? What do you plan on using the brute for? I note that you have kept him on his supplied 75 x 75 mm base. I hang my head in shame this month....no completed figures for me, just a movement tray and some assembly done. Time to make up in June!

Glad you like it GMW! I think I'll mostly use him as a rampaging monster for games. I like to include random elements like monsters terrorizing a village, Sorcerer's Portals spitting out random spells, small ambushing warbands (like goblins) entering from random locations, etc. Makes the games less one-dimensional (I'm playing X army, so I need to bring X units.) I also want to develop a Deep Gnome sect for the Dwarf army. It'd give them a magic game if you wanted one. Basically, my thought would be to give them "Earth magic" where they can use it to summon elementals like this guy. Of course, you'd have to put restrictions on the Dwarf army if you bring them. Elementals are one thing that is severely lacking from Warhammer Fantasy, imo. I'm not sure if I have a former picture of the Golem. I'll have to look. But the Crystals were all purple. Not bad, I just like this scheme much more.

I am almost finished with my wizards tower. Needs some more shades and highlights and dry brush but at least it is now playable Pretty tired of painting windows... I love how you’ve done the tabletop world stuff. I had to go back and re-look at your river project again as that’s just eye candy!

All I can say is that tabletop world is a joy painting. Will do some weathering/moss effects later on the tower.

I'm just missing an air elemental.

There was a game I used to play YEARS ago called Heroes of Might and Magic (5 - I think. There was several versions I played). One of the factions you could play was an elemental faction. Flying cities and all. You could get all four elementals, but also other units like Djinnis, Nagda's (six armed snake ladies), and even Cloud Titans who could call down thunder. I've always thought it'd be really cool to build an army similar to that. My version of Araby maybe.

You know I actually played that game 😀 I got the chance to test out my Water elemental last night as it joined Lokhir Fellheart's corsair army. I really like the Reaper Bones mini for the price.
