I am thinking about building a war shrine list and wonder what people think about it. Maximizing numbers of eye of the gods champions. Putting the wiz with one unit but as he has a steed he can jump out if needed, he is still very protective ;0 and the BSB with the other unit of marauders.

It's weird seeing a wizard on a chaos steed instead of on a disc lol

Keep in mind that the marauder cav lose Fast Cav if you give them Light Armor.
Also, I’ve always been strongly opposed to giving characters with high Initiative a Great Weapon. I think you will be much better off giving him a Halberd. If you really want the S7, I would give him a flail, but I feel the S6 all the time Halberd is better.
I get where you are going with the Marauder Champs, but I think your units are too small and will get shot to pieces. Combining the two units may at least ensure you aren’t panicking off the board in round 1.
Lastly, in case you didn’t know, if you deploy the Chosen after deploying the Warshrines, the Chosen will get the benefit from the extra D6 for the eye of the gods roll. Maybe even 2d6 extra (I can’t remember exactly what the rule states, but they will at least get 1 extra)

I am afraid not. You only get one additional die, whatever the number of Warshrines.
WoC AB p. 43: Favour of the Ruinous Powers If a friendly model is within 12" of one or more Chaos Warshrines when he rolls on the Eye of the Gods table, he rolls an additional D6 and discards a single dice of his choosing.
Note that the caveat is actually superfluous, since the same special rule does not stack, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Thank you, I have read that sentence like 10 times not sure I have missed it.

Version 2 Obviously more powerful, I am torn off using two war shrines after I misread the rules. Also not sure if two foot slogging units is enough. But maybe it is always better to focus the buffs on the same unit anyway.

Or put the BSB with the warriors and add a hellcannon and go down to one warshrine.

I'd go for the last one of the army lists. For your BSB you might want to consider the cheap alternative of just giving him a halberd, Ironcurse Icon and the Talisman of Endurance. Alternatively, you could give him a shield, Scaled Skin and the Razor Standard to up the damage output of the unit he's in.

The main thing I’m loving is that it is a fully themed list!

The main thing I’m loving is that it is a fully themed list! Yes I think I have played enough games now to go full in on one god and I am not sure why a mixed list is allowed. Feels so wrong 😂

Exactly! Renage your false gods and convert to the one and only god Sigmar! you misspelled "The Great Horned Rat". But that's okay, I'll just send some minions to help "convert" you.

I had a frist game with a shrine a coupe of weeks back. Needless to say I went turn 1 daemon prince with turning a 1+ bsb hero with a juggernaut into a bonkers prince I will probably run warriors over marauders next time.
