That's one spooky unit fella! Also, is the owl really in charge here?

I can't remember if I've said this before, but your painting style is really distinctive - it's completely unlike anything I've seen before. If someone told me they were going to put white streaks all over their models, I'd think they were crazy - but it works, and your models have a great, sinister, brooding atmosphere to them as a result. Your photography, with the dark background, also really fits that style.

I appreciate the encouragement. I almost did an autumn theme instead, but I'm very happy with the way this moonlight theme is turning out. There's actually a few other realms in the army book that I think would be fun to create. For these, I took my color palette from the pictures below. When I Googled moonlight forest, these popped up. The combo of blue and green; streaks of light and shadow. This is the mood I am trying to copy in my miniatures. I'm just glad that it is working well.

These look awesome, makes me want to branch out from my "copy the colour scheme from the box" style painting!

Sorry, I'm new here so going through everyone's painting Plogs and commenting if they are recent one's... This is such a cool theme...Moonlight, as sedge said, it's very distinctive and unique (In a Good way) I love seeing other peoples idea's on armies that we may never have even considered...
Really nicely done, yeah I love that Owl :-)

P.S. you need a backboard of a moon on a starry sky when you play games against people !!

Very cool Wood Elves, all of them, Archers, Dryads, Scouts - and the effect on the wizard is really nice! Well done!

Loving these incredibly artistic shots.
I'd totally watch a stop motion video done in this style.

Thanks, guys. I try to incorporate some art (not that I'm spectacular) into all aspects of this hobby. From my miniatures, to terrain, army stories (I have my story idea for this army, I just need to write it down soon), terrain, photography, backgrounds, my blog, and my youtube channel. I'm working on a music slideshow for my wood elves and hope to have it uploaded to my youtube channel sometime this week. Right after that, I'll do a discussion video of the WE army on my channel. I'll include a link below if you are interested. Simultaneously, I need to get the WE army backstory published on my blog. Then I move on to my daemons of Khorne. My unit for them is already done. I'm actually a little ahead with my miniatures than I am with sharing pictures and blog content. Then I'll do a monster, and then a couple of terrain projects. Then I start the army cycle over again with Bretonnia. At that point, I'll be throwing all my 1000 point armies as they stand into a simple tournament and share the battle reports on Youtube. I've got different players for each of my armies and we'll see what happens. I have many plans and have a lot of work to do ahead of me. The publishing takes just as much time as the painting, but it adds a fun dimension to the hobby. I'm more of an introvert, so the publishing takes me out of my comfort zone. But that's okay. I'm also aiming to keep all my content free across all platforms. I also plan on sharing content on EEFL for as long as it's around. Cheers!
