I’ll kick things off this month.
I’ll pledge to finish off the linemen from my Vampire Counts Bloodbowl team. Not strictly WFB but they’re still old world based.
If I do that, I’ll also try to paint up a few Lizardmen and perhaps some Bretonnian Knights and maybe even some of the vampires from the team. Think big and try not to epically fail!

buildings and maybe some ogres. I am a bit aimless these days, working on whatever strikes my fancy that minute, like a hobby butterfly.

I feel your "flightiness", Naitsabes. I think I'll be sticking with Wood Elves again this month, though my first model will be another Goblin Warboss.
I'll be heading out Thursday to my sister-in-laws wedding and won't be back until next week, so I will be getting off to a late start this month. Maybe I can make up for it though.

Get started on WE eternal guard. The unit goal is 20. A realistic goal for the month for me is probably 8-10. I had my attention to painting divided the past several weeks because I was also making game tokens/counters that should help me remember special rules better. Now with that project done, I'll be more focused on painting. So, I'm curious how this month will go.

I have nearly finished last months pledge.. so this month I will be trying to get some banners made for Grom, the Orc Boyz & my Hobgoblins. I will finish off my Orcs and I will make a start on my 2 Earthshakers and Azhag the Slaughterer, my next 2 projects. I don't imagine I am going to get anywhere near finished on all this since I am on holiday at the end of the month but a start will do!

Gonna pledge...my table. It's currently just a bunch of scarred blue foam at the moment waiting for priming. I'm going to try and get it out of the way so that I can go back to painting Custodes. Or possibly more Mordheim terrain/warbands - it depends on how I'm feeling.
Before I can do that though I need to finish the hills I'm working on. I just finished a large batch of straight hills (for making canyons and marking off table edges - sealed them last night!) and I've now got 5 round hills that I primed last night. Going to give them a second coat of primer tonight, so I'll realistically have them done by this weekend.
Then it's table time.

I finished my GW Night Goblin Warboss today. I've never been really overly fond of this model, but after painting it up, it has really grown on me.

The linemen are finished (as much as they are going to be). Sure there are some details that can be done but I wanted to just clear them from the board.

I'm intending to get primed tomorrow: - Savage Orc Shaman on Wyvern (Mierce model)
- Unit of Black Orcs + associated characters
- 10 Dwarf Miners
- 5 Dwarf Ironbreakers + 5 Dwarf Irondrakes
I don't know yet whether I'll paint Dwarves or Orcs. Getting "big green" painted is very tempting (I just need to settle on a name for my shaman). It's been a while since I got to work on a good sized monster.

Okay, so the Wyvern it is - work has commenced:

Finished up two ninja ogres. Not mine unfortunately, just painted them. but I scored some minis in return. Makes it kind of commission work I guess. I can't quite make sense of these little metal (or is it supposed to be leather?) bits stitched to the pajama. Doesn't clacking stuff make the sneaky ninja business harder? Maybe different rules apply for ogre ninjas. Still a cool miniature.

They look good. I like the red one better.
I think the metal "patches" were really just the sculptor trying to fill the gaps in the model. No large blank spaces and such. That's his quick and easy detail I suppose.

I finished a Wraith today. Just liked the model. I might eventually start a BC army, use him as a random monster haunting a cemetery, or simply add him into my TK army.

I can't quite make sense of these little metal (or is it supposed to be leather?) bits stitched to the pajama. I seem to remember reading some fluff a while ago about ogres and their belly plates - aren't they somehow special? Like...some kind of religious special? I don't remember exact details but think like those kippahs that the jews wear or turbans that the Sikhs wear. An ogre without his belly plate is an ogre that doesn't belong in any "decent" society? Or am I just completely imagining things?
