You could take an organ gun in your list. If I'm taking a slayer themed list and playing 'official' 8th dwarf rules, I bring the Goblin Hewer and use organ gun rules for it.
With regards to your list - the slayer unit cannot take the MRo Grungni as only the BSB can take that rune. You've also given the same unit the rune that makes them stubborn (Stoicism). As they are already unbreakable, they don't need that one. I'm guessing you meant to give them the vanguard rune (Strollaz) as well (so both slayer units would vanguard)?
gregr - The slayer list was 6th ed. in the storm of chaos book.
Knoffles - correct sir!I found it in the back of my 6th ed book.
Its not designed to be balanced at all purely fluff. It lists the following:
One Daemon Slayer may be designated the Slayer King. They have the same army list options as a Dwarf Lord and costs 220pts. One Slayer character must be the army general, but this has no other effect other than for victory points purposes
Warriors 0-1 Hammerers (only if a Slayer King is present)
Quarrellers / Crossbowmen Thunderers
Then I suppose for more fluff and variety you could include Long Drong's pirates as Special and the Goblin Hewer as a Rare choice?
I noticed the same thing about BattleScribe. It is annoying.
The list is good with one exception. Like other BSB’s you can’t take magic items if you take a magic standard (so in this case you can either take the banner runes such as MRo Grungni or the armour/weapon/talisman runes, in this case the Ro Iron).
You can always try the Slayer Army from Storm of Chaos. It was from back on 6th ed but translates well to 8th. When Dwarfs moved to their 6.5 ed book Gav Thorpe released an FAQ to use with 7th ed saying to use the Storm of Chaos list as written with the Runes from the 6.5 ed book.
We applied this ruling to the 8th ed book and the army played well. I used it in a few games and it was a blast. The slayer list can hold its own.
