My heart hurts for anyone that rebased a skaven army for AoS and might have to now go back. They didn't need to rebase for AoS though did they? Thought you could use squares? For tournaments you need to rebase. The smaller base gives a slight advantage to Skaven players who remain on squares as opposed to rounds. I have never had an opponent complain for me though, as you can just do some quick math and remove an attack that you wouldn't be able to get on the squares (For about every 12-15 models surrounding another model remove one attack, do not attack with second row if you don't have spears)

I wouldn't worry about rebasing AoS minis just yet. Given GW's track record, the new 'square base' game they're working on will almost certainly not be in a consistent scale with either prior WFB minis nor with AoS minis.
Just to make sure you buy the NEW minis they'll release with the NEW game...

I dunno, didn't they do a meme that suggested people who hadn't rebased from WFB to AoS had got lucky for not wasting their time? You know, the meme with the baby doing a first bump.

Which if true would suggest the same minis can be used in the new game just like you can use them now in AoS.

I must have missed that one.

When has GW ever been consistent over a three-year period?

This is true, though I think buying that many round bases would cost me more than buying a whole new AoS army

Me too. So with the mention of Louen Orc Slayer the time frame seems to be the 2200s.I also like the high elf outposts mentioned, meaning we might see some elves too.

Yep. High Elves and Wood Elves. I'm sure all the races will be accounted for eventually. What will be of real interest to me is if GW will include armies for races like Estalia, Tiles, Border Princes, etc.
