Hey guys, I'm here to share my newly finished model I didn't want to wait to make my Vampire army thread to post it, since that can be a while away, so I decided to make this separate thread instead. First are the unpainted pics so you can see the scratch-build model first, then the painted model will follow. Hope you'll enjoy! Here's the full model, nearly 14 inches at the top of the head! He's on a 100mm x 150mm base. Here's some close up; The Necromancer is magnetized, so I can remove him if needed. The Mortis Engine Reliquary fit right in the spot too, so I magnetized it for fun! Since the model can have magic level in option, both option could be used if I go with or without magic! And here he is with some random models to give you an idea of the scale;

Geez that thing is massive! Definitely the 500 point option not the 275 point one.
Nice pictures. The bottom one looks like he is about to punt that poor skeleton the length of 5 football fields.

Wow, that's great! The arcane ruin foot is perfect. And I like the beating (well at least I imagine it to be) heart of zombies. I think you could have used more bony parts in the constructions but, that's a minor gripe. The copper wire (at least I think that's what it is) looks really convincing as rope. Really well painted too. Congrats!

Absolutely! Why make a small one when you can go big! I made it big and worthy enough for the Colossal Beast and Largest of Monster rule. And I can see him punting the Skeleton, that could surely be fun! Congrats! Boney parts could have been used (like giant bones or lots of skeleton parts), but I didn't think about it really. I was looking at the artwork in the book for inspiration and didn't looked farther than that I was going for a cheap model (cost me 5$ for a few bits, the rest was stuff I had already). And yep, that's copper wire for the rope

I absolutely love it. I've considered making one myself so it's really cool to actually see one pre-paint and check out the parts used.

I've been all over the Internets and this might still be my favorite thing. Every time I look at it I discover something new that I appreciate. I need one of these.
