Ok, my first thought is that you could have made better use of the eagles march blocking is always useful but I felt they could have been used to tie up the skinks for a turn and stop them shooting. If it was me I would have focused my arrows on the unit of warriors. Looking at your deployment overall it is solid though I felt you could have positioned your Wildriders more effectively. Deploying then using vanguard to change position is an excellent idea. I would have gone for the right flank though as it looks like you have enough stuff on the left to deal with the terranodons and the salamander. When using Wildriders you do need to play aggressively with them they are there to smash things. The only other thing I can see is that it looks like you have a potentially clear run in the photo to the top right corner of the board which could get you right behind your opponent which coupled with the glade riders coming on could seriously sow confusion. So far that's all I can think of, I'll have another look and see if anything else comes to mind. Nice work!

Hi and thank you for your feedback. 🙏 My main problem with charging skinks is that the eagle with no save will not survive to tie em up. Sometimes he will not even make it to combat with poisons shots with some unlucky 6s. Need to test this out in game in the future. Might be worth it if they survive 1 round of combat. Might play this too carful. So my main concern with right flank is the overrun position. He will definitely make sure I end up in the middle in front of the warriors with scar vets. But you might be right I might have been bit mind locked into my starting plan but it did cross my mind and something I thought of after the game. Regarding targets for the shots I went with the skinks T2 as it was also his only magic source. ~30 warriors is really hard to take down with only shots and no debuff/hex. I also find it hard to just ignore the skinks when every GG cost a fortune. Warhammer Fantasy is hard I am not saying I was right in any of these decisions but those were my thoughts of why I play it like I did. 🙏

Yeah, fair point. I felt that two eagles in either flanks or rear might have had a good chance at surviving as it limits skink shots and with attacks and stomps to take out the lvl 2 at least that's what I would have tried. But fair enough it is a big risk and a huge ask especially if it doesn't work. It's a tough one you always evaluate your plans and think if I did it differently what would have happened. My one is trying to capitalize on mistakes and force errors. Even changing ideas on the fly is hard as it comes down to experience more than anything. The only other thought I can offer is dropping the eagles and some GG for three warhawks without a champ. I've used them quite a bit and they do allow you more flow to your battle plan them also being monstrous cavalry with killing blow is nasty.
