Lovely! That one counts as two though. I see a dragon riding an elf riding a dragon.

Thanks for the kind words guys. sedge I know it's technically two dragons, but, it's only one base, so it only counts as one! I've started building the next dragon. Now, this is a bit of an odd one, the Spindle Dragon from Myriad Miniatures. It's very cool, and very strange, but, it's very much true 28mm scale, so it's a little small. However, it will fit perfectly in my 3rd edition warhammer army. In 8th, if I use him, he'll be a Tzeentch Sorcerer Lord on Chaos Dragon. Here are the sub-assemblies:

hivefleetmanticore thanks so much OK, I'm finally working on the next dragon, it's a big one. A nice reaper Dragon that I'm working on a saddle for. He'll ultimately be ridden by a Nurgle Chaos Lord

A bit of a cheeky interruption to this log on my end. I've painted this Dwarf Dragon Slayer (he was a 3D print, I believe by someone who scanned and reversed the classic Gotrek). I've decided that the Year of the Dragon can also include other things in Warhammer related to dragons as bonus projects. So I might be posting more slayers, Blood Dragon Vampires, High Elf Dragon Princes, etc. in this log as well as the Dragons themselves.

Finally some progress on this dragon. Going for a looser/sketchier paint style on this one, as befits one dedicated to Nurgle.

Amazing job with Poisonbreath and really making the Reaper Bones dragon look 'GW' with the rider.
What base size is that? Despite the model size it does have some similarities to the GW 'S' dragons in aesthetic.
This is an amazing Nurgle Chaos Lord mount. What a beast!
