I believe it would just be 1 attack. supporting ranks get one attack, "monstrous support" overrules this by allowing monstrous "noun" 3, I don't think that swarms have this rule.
I could be wrong though.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, but I wasn't totally sure. I've never encountered something like that before!
Maybe KevinC would have see this and know what to do?

Yes, they count as Swarms.

That truly is an epic box!

The Bloodbowl troll came in a similar box. Definitely not very environmentally friendly but maybe it’s part of the justification for the price of the single miniatures (or a soften of the blow).

----------------I believe I'm putting mine of a 25mm square base. He actually fits on a 20mm, but not with the squig. So I think I'll update the rules I wrote that he is mounted on 25mm base, but also give him a rule regarding the squig...

I've put him on a 20x20 because I'll want him in a unit of Night Goblins. Yeah, the holy Squigg doesn't fit easily (he can technically fit right at his feet on the rock he's standing on, but he covers a lot of the Goblin, so I think I'll leave the Squigg off and use him with some other filler). Honestly, I think I like him without the Squigg even more. There's already so much going on with this model, it's not really necessary. Too much noise. I'm eventually planning on making a few Mushroom fillers and I think I may use it with those.

Here's a pic of all my Boar Riders together. Quite the mighty force!

This looks awesome!
I need to get hold of some Boar Boyz myself, I've been trying to Orc-ify my Greenskins a little. Have you tried an all mounted list? How do you find Boar chariots go?

I haven't put all of these in an army yet, but when I pulled them all out like this, I definitely thought that I should try it at some point. It may not be an ideal build, but would look totally freakin' awesome on the table!
The last time I used Gorbad, he didn't perform all that awesome, being brought to a standstill by a unit of White Lions and a Frostheart Phoenix. That aside, it took quite a few rounds to bring him down. It was mostly his retinue of Orc Boar Boys that would lose a few each turn. That High Elf combination is just tough though. I also brought the 3 Grunta Boys, but they never saw close combat, taking the fire from 4 bolt throwers.
The Boar Chariots have always performed awesome for me! I have no complaints whatsoever with them. Now, that being said, I don't simply throw them into big blocks of infantry, unsupported, and usually use them to tie up loose ends on flanks, Chaff cleaners, or Scouting units like Shadow Warriors, Chameleon Skinks, or Shades. They're great at that. And at S5 Impact Hits, and T5, they're really hard opponent to take down. All for 85 points.
The Savage Orc Boar Boys are a glass cannon. They can hit really hard, but need to be flanked by some units of regular Orc Boar Boys, to ensure that they get that crucial charge off. If you can manage to get their charge off with a chariot or two, then they'll crush most enemies. If you're going to focus your army that way, I'd probably go ahead and make them Big 'Uns for that extra pip of strength. If you took a unit of 10 (like I have here) that'd account for 31 S5 attacks (for Additional Hand Weapons) + the 10 Boar attacks. Not too bad. The regular Savage Orcs on foot may be able to churn out more attacks, but they are slower and only have a 6++ save, whereas these guys have a 5+, 6++ for being mounted and the Thick Skinned special rule of the Boars. You can always throw in a Savage Orc Shaman with the Lucky Shrunken Head to make it a 5+, 5++ too.
The Regular Orc Boar Boys don't hit as hard as their more feral cousins, but they are much harder to bring down with a 3+ save (mounted, thick skinned, light armor, and shields). If I take these boys, I usually give them Spears as well so that they can hit that much harder on the charge.
These units are all about getting charges off. It's good to take other chaff units like Goblin Wolf Riders to make sure that you get those pivotal charges off and also back them up with some units like Rock Lobbas, Doom Diver Catapults, and Spear Chukkas to apply the pressure to your enemy and hopefully force them into your charge ranges.

It's been a while since I've posted anything on this thread, so it's about time for an update! This is the first "test pilot" Squig for me as far as color scheme goes. I think a whole unit of these critters will look good with my "Blue Hoodlum Boyz" Night Goblins.
