Nice models... but I really like the Egyptian motif that GW was able to create. Plus with GW you have an entire range of models that fit perfectly alongside one another aesthetically. I really think GW could make a killing if they did a quick run of TK through their "made to order" program. But you guys are probably correct that it is unlikely to ever happen.

I don't know. Metals are perfect for Made to Order. That may happen from some of the old TK molds. The plastics not so good as it costs more to set them up for run to my understanding.

Well considering TK were one of the worst sellers I think it will probably be unlikely they would get a run on the Made to Order

Well considering TK were one of the worst sellers I think it will probably be unlikely they would get a run on the Made to Order Looking at what is happening with TK on the secondary market, I'm not too sure. If they made a quick run, I think they would make a killing on them. Take a look at some of the stuff they have released up until now through made to order. I strongly feel that TK would outsell most of that. TK might not have been a great seller in the long run. But there is such a drought right now, that if they were to offer them up via "made to order", people would definitely take advantage. Take a quick look on Ebay and see how much Tomb Guard, Sphinxes and Necropolis/Stalkers are consistently going for. This might fade over time, but at the moment there is big cash to be made for GW. It also helps that TK are apparently really strong in AoS at the moment (from what I have heard... personally I despise AoS).

Indeed, Tomb kings are a top competitive army in AoS right now. They have amazing synergy. Might change abit with the next general handbook release, though. Looks like their stronger stuff is getting a points tweak.
Like I said though, they'll probably pop-up on the order when Death gets it's turn. They're asked for alot on the AoS facebook and it was the daemonette demand that had GW ignore the choice between "space marines and chaos space marines only" for the poll they gave.

I definitely wouldn't mind if GW absolutely nerfed them in the next general's handbook. That might drive down the cost of the TK on Ebay.

The same EBay that supports the scalpers that snatched up the Bretonnian last chance to buy stuff and the metal Nuln spearman that went up to $3,000+ ?
Suuure, trustworthy alright.
Have you tried going to large hobby forums like Dakkadakka and checking there?

Good advice right here. Check sites like dakka and warseer, possibly the trading forums on the army specific sites (in my experience these are mostly dead though) before you try ebay. You might have a little better luck.
Personally I try and avoid ebay as much as I can.

I picked up most of my big hat Chaos Dwarfs off the CD Online forums so the army specific sites I can definitely vouch as being an excellent source. The people you generally deal with on those forums are not just trying to rip you off for the max possible price, they are more happy to see their excess minis go to a good home

Thanks for the advice. Seems like there is lots of hatred aimed at Ebay. To be honest, I've scored many great deals on Ebay. It simply comes down to patience. Plus Ebay has guarantees and safety checks to protect buyers. I will definitely look into the forums.

Eh, less at Ebay itself and more at the people who abuse it. Nothing like seeing a AoS starter set hero that should be $10-15 be priced at $400(wasn't even painted).
Fellow players also need the money for alot of real life problems so you're doing them a solid in many cases.

To be fair, they can list it for what ever they want... doesn't mean that they are going to be able to sell it! I've seen many "ambitious" listings that will never sell. Eventually they will have to give up or reduce the cost to a value that is much closer to its actual worth. For instance, I can't imagine that AoS starter hero you mentioned selling for even close to $400. The seller is pretty much wasting his/her time. It does suck having to sort through all those nonsense listings though.
