The glowing eyes are awesome on the snake and rider. Mixed feelings about the blue.

Looking very good. I agree that on a big center piece type monster like this hitting those extra details is well worth the time.

Great job, very neat brushwork and refreshing to see khemri brave enough to put on a dash of color. And yes, all the details all the time on a center piece.

Thanks, guys!
Yeah, the dull colors will be for the cannon fodder. Put some rags on dem bones and such.
Funny thing is, when I started I planned on going dull and old-looking, but as I kept applying paint, I started thinking, "Man, that looks kinda cool! Oh! This might work well with that! Oh! And maybe this! Oh! And this..."
Overall, it probably took me somewhere in the neighborhood of 20~ish hours.

Warsphinx looks great (i love that kit).
Having painted a Necrosphinx......man those gems/triangles on the front of the model were an absolute menace were they not?
Once again loving the green glowing eyes and the green eyes/green scorpion tail give the model a nice sort of symmetry from the side view.
Fantastic stuff.
The one bit i feel could make the model a little better would be a tuft or 2 on the base to break up the empty space but of course it's all personal preference.
The tomb guard up top are looking great also... the whole model ties together very well.

Thanks, GMW! All those little triangles are a nightmare! But I'm continuing them on my Necro Knights.
Yeah, I thought about putting some "Rocks" or dead grass on the base. Still time to get to that.

Well, I finally finished my Snake Surfers. Man, these guys were a pain to paint up! I never would have guessed it from looking at them, but there was much more that went into these guys than I originally thought! Anyway, I hope you like them!

Nice! I really like the green, which obviously goes well with the dark blue. They look great!

The snake surfers are looking good and looking at them closely as you say I see a ton of detail on them. Like those triangles on the back along the edge that you painted a light blue and yellow, that must have taken forever.
