The skaven warp glow effect is great.

The greens on the bell are great. I am actually in the process of acquiring, building and having skaven painted for me. TheREALricksalamone is painting them for me. I'll get pictures of them up here eventually.

I finished these two Ogres (BSB and Hunter) last night for a friend. I used the spare bits from the Thundertusk kit and I bought one regular Ogre sprue off eBay. I think they'll work rather well. Let me know what you think or if they need something else.

It was part of the Thundertusk kit as well. There were several options as far as plates forthe beasts shoulders. That was one of them.

Love the Screaming Bell. As @therealricksalamone and dannytee have already posted - the greens and warpstone effects are very very good. I particularly like that you added real rope/twine to the Screaming Bell. It adds to the piece. Either you are really good, or the kit is really good... cause I love how it looks like the wind is blowing all the brazier and globe and warpfire elements in the same direction. That impressed me. or, maybe you are really good AND it's a good kit. Your wind-directional-knowledge is above average.

Actually, that's all the model. I can't take credit for it as much as I'd like to! The rope came on the model, tho I painted it that way, and the putrescent cauldron as well as the censors are all modeled to "blow" like that. You just have to put them together in the correct orientation and paint them that way.
But, yes...I AM BATMAN!!!

I would have lost a $1 side bet that those were real actual twine ropes you glued on the boilerplate model. Well painted! You duped me.

Mottdon, how do you output painted models like this? You must just sit home all day long and paint! Nice work!

Yes, I have also commented to him that the amount of painted minis that he has is impressive. Painting machine.

Lol, thanks guys! No, even though I wish sometimes I could stay at home and paint all day, I unfortunately have a job that I have to go into every weekday. (I mostly do a lot of 3D AutoCAD work, building, designing and implementing large-scale production plants for oil and power companies. That's why I'm able to comment on here as much as I do.)
But when I get home from work, running errands, and doing chores around the house, I just sit down at my painting station and throw myself into it. I'll work for a couple of hours straight on a project and I usually have two or three models going at once. As one is drying, I'll shift to another one. That's why it seems like I have a pretty steady stream of models that are getting churned out.
It's also the way I decompress from the day. When all of my attention is focused on an object about 2 inches from my face, I don't really notice anything and usually forget about stuff that has been consuming me. Also, when I was getting my degree in Architecture, everyday, all day was spent in the studio working on models, plans, and renderings, so I was used to spending long amounts of time devoted to one task. But when I graduated, it all...stopped. Warhammer filled that creative outlet for me.
I've talked to some people about doing commission work, but I dunno. It is really just something fun I do and I'd hate to have that fun taken out of it for me with a deadline.
