I've volunteered to run our club 8th competition and from the survey, most of the entrants want to try new scenarios (or adaptations of existing ones). As such I thought i'd use some of the Kings of War scenarios. One of which is below.
Let me know if you think it needs amending/improving in anyway (I tried to keep it as close to the original as possible).
ELIMINATE
The generals of the two opposing forces have identified the greatest threats of the opposing army and have issued bounties on them to inspire their troops to eliminate the threats.
THE ARMIES
Each player chooses an army from a Warhammer army list, to a value of 2500 points.
THE BATTLEFIELD
If there are multiple potential units with the same cost, the opposing player decides which of those units they are placed on.
** A unit can be any troop type apart from Characters and their mounts (mounts include unique mounts such as screaming bells/Cauldrons of blood or anything else that comes from the Lord/Hero points allowance).
DEPLOYMENT
Players deploy their armies as per the Dawn Attack scenario as described on pg. 145 of the Warhammer rulebook.
FIRST TURN
After deployment, the player who set up second rolls a dice. On a 6 they choose who has the first turn, on a 1-5 the player that set up first chooses who has the first turn
GAME LENGTH
The battle length will usually last for six game turns.
VICTORY CONDITIONS
Victory points are awarded at the end of the game as follows:

Victory points are awarded at the end of the game as follows:
- 1 victory point for holding the central objective marker.
- 1 victory point for each of your units that carry a bounty that have not been destroyed and are not fleeing.
- 2 victory points for each bounty you have completed (e.g. each enemy unit with a bounty you have destroyed/are fleeing at the end of the game).
