I finished my monthly commitment for this month last night! My first 20 Saurus Warriors completed! I hope you like them! These are not the easiest models to paint up. So many scales!

Looking good, they are now more than ready for the grand melee. Glad that you don't choose to paint the edge of their patterned skin. Would kill your eyes faster than looking straight at an exploding star.

I quite like the old dryads and their wood grain skin. Good job. But, RED claws? That is not a period of 'eavy metal painting we should try and emulate. Yep it didn't work quite as I hoped and I'll probably go over them (in the same way I did with the feet which just looked like extreme nail varnish!). I just need to decide on what colour to use. Like wise I made a mistake using warplock green for the foliage and need to either tone it down or go large and highlight with a bright green. mottdon cheers for the offer but I also have a load of the new dryads if I want to use more in a game (+drycha and one of the new branchwraith models). So all set on dryads for the minute.

I want to get three Empire cannons done...and touch up a Gryocopter. Right, halfway through the month...but not halfway through the cannons. No surprise there. That's all I've got. On the other hand, I did finish the gyrocopter (thanks again, ryrak!) and whipped up a bonus BSB pretty much out of thin air.

I painted this model up last night that ryryak gave me in a recent trade. I haven't finished his base, but I usually like to wait until I'm finished with painting all of my models in an army before I base them. I hope you like him!

Managed to 'finish' my Highweaver on Unicorn, who I duely named Merilel of the Moon Posted this from my phone to there is a good chance I'll have to come back to it and amend it later as I suspect the link won't embed the image. i.imgur.com/CbpFwOQ.jpgNice! What is the rule base size for wood elves unicorn?

It's the same base size as a Sister of the Thorn. Cavalry base size.

Lots of nice work from people, well done. My progress has been predictably slow Naitsabes love the freehand runes and axes. What do the runes say? I don't have my rune list handy

Naitsabes love the freehand runes and axes. What do the runes say? I don't have my rune list handy Thanks Horace. Now I get to disappoint you twice in one post: - the axes and runes are decals (apparently the Space Wolves from the far future developed letters looking very similar to our dwarfs. Convergent evolution. It's a thing, look it up) - The writing is just gibberish..I think (I didn't have my rune list handy either when I picked the coolest looking)

Well done everyone! I've started plugging away at the skaven again hopefully I'll have some images soon. Right now I've got the next 20 slaves sitting on my work station being worked on. I think I'll do a hellpit abomination next. mottdon you got him painted fast! He looks good! Naitsabes I love that green on the dwarfs! You're making me seriously consider repainting mine green instead of blue (I'm going to repaint them eventually anyway as the current paintjob on them isn't mine and for some reason that's bothering me) strutsagget those wild riders are ace! love the paintjob on those guys!

It's the same base size as a Sister of the Thorn. Cavalry base size. strutsaggetI think it should actually be 50mm square as it's a monstrous mount so 2*SotT bases. I do have the other base but the unicorn will be blue tacked to it so I can use the model as a standard steed too if wanted. Oh and love the Wildriders, I need to paint mine and you've inspired me to start them now!
