His points cost counts towards the army’s Heroes allowance.
Horticulous Slimux and his sluggish mount, Mulch, follow all the usual rules for Ridden Monsters. However, whenever the Horticulous and Mulch model is attacked, always resolve the attack using the profile and armour save of Horticulous. There is never a need to randomize attacks against Horticulous and Mulch, and template weapons striking the model only cause one hit on the rider. When Horticulous is reduced to zero Wounds, both Horticulous and Mulch are considered slain. Mulch’s profile is only used when it attacks in close combat. Points: 380 Troop Type: Monster (Special Character; Herald of Nurgle). Equipment (Horticulous): Shears of Garden’s Blight. Equipment (Mulch): Gaping, slimy maw (hand weapon). Special Rules: Daemon of Nurgle, Daemonic, Poisoned Attacks, Regeneration, Slime Trail (see page 47 of Warhammer: Daemons of Chaos), Random Attacks (D6+2) (Mulch only). Armoured Shell: Mulch provides a +3 armour save bonus to its rider. This means Horticulous has an armour save of 3+. The Slug Lord: Units of Beasts of Nurgle within 12” of Horticulous gain the Devastating Charge special rule. DAEMONIC GIFT
Shears of Garden’s Blight (Magic Weapon): These Daemonic shears have ever been the badge of office of Father Nurgle’s Grand Gardener and a mere clip from its blades will fell enormous trees or lop off heads with homologous potency. The Shears of Garden’s Blight has the Killing Blow special rule. In addition, against Monsters, Monstrous Infantry, and Monstrous Cavalry the shears gain the Multiple Wounds (D3) special rule.

Is thr snail/slugs official name "Mulch" or is that something you came up with? Either way I approve

Awesome, fluffy rules! Like the killing blow addition. Like the random attacks and slowness for Mulch especially. The sheers for D3 wounds still have poisoned attacks right? Or is it just Mulch with poisoned attacks. Would you say he is on the equivalent of a chariot base? Super quick and impressive as always KevinC. Don't like the buff to Beasts (nothing to do with you, hate those things) but the rule is fun and makes sense. Sluglord indeed!

I would say that both rider and mount have poisoned attacks as it is a rule for the entire model and does not specify if one or the other has it.
Will second Heroic Killing blow; although D3 wounds is probably better as it's more consistent (nothing against killing/heroic killing but I hate fishing for 6's) Also poison takes away some chances of killing blow triggering.
I'm also wondering about his base size: I'm personally wanting to find some way to model this on a 50x50 so that I can count it as a palanquin. Maybe model him to have him climbing up a rock or something...

Thanks for the comments guys.
Yes, both Horticulous and Mulch have the poisonous attacks rule.
I originally considered giving Horticulous Heroic Killing Blow, but I thought it would be too good. I didn't want him to be able to kill a dragon in one hit. But the multiple wounds rule allows him to potential dish out an additional +1 or +2 Wounds.
I have not idea what base size, as I have not seen the model in person. I originally started to write him up a Monstrous Cav, but though he must be too big for that. I'm guessing the 100x150 base would work best? I think 50x50 will def be too small. Maybe a chariot base could work...
Mulch is what GW named the beast.

I would say the area effect would be more beneficial than buffing the rider, Nurgle is more about the buff and debuffs than going for killing blow. If anything just give the shears Armour piercing. Otherwise I'd prefer him be a support lord.

To go back to this quite old thread he fits a 50x100 chariot base perfectly but is too big for 50x75 and would feel lonely on 100x150.
