I actually really like it. That probably works better than any of these others.

mottdon There is limited artwork for Middenheim (except Kot White Wolf) so I guess the options for Teutogen Guard art is as follows: Or no picture and a Middenheim icon or story scroll (kind of like Aldebrand) Technically one of them is Valten I think, but it fits quite well. I would probably crop out everything to just keep the top right guy in the middle image. I would recolour them all anyways to fit in the book better. Any preferences? Top picture to me. Elite and epic...just like Teutogen guard. The picture shows they are something special and not a run of the mill troop. Every single member of the Teutogen guard is a boss basically.

HA! Well, there you go! That works then! I still like the idea about the Wolf Cloaks giving -1 To Hit vs Non-magical Shooting. What do you guys think? Elves get White Lion Cloaks, Sea Dragon Cloaks, and Dragon Armor, for about the same cost. Lizardmen get Scaly Skin beneath their armor. Empire elite troops should get a little something too. Wolf cloak = White Lion cloak in rules seems fine and fair to me.

I'm almost done with it. I gave them the White Wolf Hammer (which did have rules btw) and the wolf cloak. I included the inner circle option and removed the regimental unit rule.
I was considering bumping them a point. I also need a name for the regular champion. The inner circle one is the Count's champion. I'll add them to the extended roster once I'm done.

Sweeeeet! All of that sounds great! Making them 12 points a piece sounds appropriate. At that point, adding a 3 point upgrade to make them Inner Circle, would bring them on par with Phoenix Guard.
As for a name for the Champ, how about:
Pack Leader Ulric's Fang Grand Defender
It'd also be nice for him to have the option to take up to 25 points of magic items. That would be a good appropriation of his status as the chief defender of the Flame of Ulric.

I like the suggestions. Not looked at the upgrade cost yet but I am mulling whether the cloak and upgrade possibility is worth a 1 point increase on greatswords

I think it is. Normal Greatswords are 11 points each. 12 point Teutogen Guard would seem fitting, since they'd have the cloak AND the potential to upgrade to Inner Circle, even though they'd lose one point of strength on their stat line - after all bonuses from weapons, etc. (I was assuming that the upgrade cost was 3 points as with Knights.) I don't think a human foot soldier should cost more than that.

even after seeing a few of these pages I am still impressed by the level of craftsmanship. Have you considered a career in desktop publishing?
so: - why restrict this to non-magical shooting? Is that what white lion cloaks do? if not I would do all shooting - why put the rules for the mounted hammer on this page?

I put the mounted rules there just because I assume I will do Knights of the White Wolf and the hammer rules were together previously.. could split it if you like

if you do white wolf knights, why not put the weapons rules on that page instead of referring to another page? just seems more practical.
Did you see the knightly order stuff kevinC posted elsewhere on this forum? you could make pretty pages for all those. a task most honorable and wholesome.

Haha I don't think I will have the time for that. I may do Knights panther since I have some and any others if there are particular requests. I do take your point regarding the mounted weapon rules. I guess I can move them

Horace I have to echo the sentiments of how good these are. I was also going to ask, when you've 'finished' these, are you able to attach a downloadable copy to the thread?

Horace I have to echo the sentiments of how good these are. I was also going to ask, when you've 'finished' these, are you able to attach a downloadable copy to the thread? Thanks, they honestly aren't very difficult though, just lots of glorified copy pasting and plagiarism Which format do you want? You can download images from here or direct from my imgur, or I can compile them all in a pdf, or I can paste the xcf files so you can alter them yourself in GIMP. If you want the xcf files just give me a shout because you will need all the same fonts I used.

Thanks, Horace! That's perfect! (I wouldn't worry about removing the "mounted" option. Too much information is better than not enough.)
