Welcome, khaosgoblin!
This is where you need to be to support Warhammer Fantasy! We've got a great community here and we're still growing all the time (especially since the recent news hit)!
I'd love to see your 20K armies! Sounds epic!

I decided to come forward and stop being a lurker of this beautiful forum i was reading since some time after GW axed WFB. I live far away from most of you (even if i recall reading about some guy in the Indochina region with awesome DOW units) in Venice, NE Italy.
I was hooked by WFB back in 6th Ed. by buying a Deagostini collection about it. They stopped sending it to my town after few numbers so I played and painted very little as a kid with my brother, but i was struck by the lore, the miniatures and the game itself.
When i went to the university and later started being a working adult I immediatly went back to buying miniatures and started a little playing group of friends. It's ten years now and we still play even if we are awfully lazy about painting our minis.
I love what you do here and really like the general attitude of the people. I have a keen interest in creating and tweaking rulesets and love the fact that you're creating army books for AOS/other factions. I like it so much that i have actually decided to relinquish my lurker status to ask for permission to playtest a Tyranids WFB ruleset with a friend of mine who has them.
I play Greenskins, Brets, High Elves and Dwarfs. Sometimes proxiyng and playtesting almost everything but especially DOW and Chaos Dwarfs. My gaming group has Skaven, Lizards, WoC (Nurgle and Tzeentch), Beastmen, Empire (two players), Wood Elves and other Dwarfs.

Hi All,
I am new to this forum and am very happy to have found it. I started playing WFB back in middle school with the 4th edition and played that and 5th edition until I went to college. I was away from the hobby for a few years with school and new jobs, etc. I got back into in time for 7th and 8th editions before the End Times and AoS happened, and haven't played since then. However, I would really like to get back into WFB. My favorite armies are Dark Elves, Skaven, and Tomb Kings. I am currently just getting started on a Chaos Dwarf army with mostly Forge World miniatures and a smattering of non-GW sculpts. I live in the Albany, NY area, and having moved there this past August, I don't have a gaming group yet. I have tried my FLGS to see if there were any groups still playing WFB, but have not had any luck. If anyone is in the area interested in some Old World battles, let me know. Thanks and happy to be here.
