So I had a question come up recently that asked if a Warsphix can use both the Fiery Breath and the Poisoned Sting in the same round of close combat. They stated that both cannot be used in the same phase, but I couldn't find anything that says they cannot be used together. Does anyone have the answer to this?

I believe breath attack’s happen at the same initiative as the model’s other attacks.

Can't see why not. If I read it correct the sting just makes all attacks poisonous and has nothing to do with the breath weapon that is a free extra cc 2d6 hits in close combat or the template if not in cc.

Completely agree, nothing to state they can’t and it would be like saying any model with a breath weapon can’t use their other attacks in the same turn.

Okay, good. That was my interpretation as well.

Note, however, that the Fiery Roar itself does not benefit from the Envenomed Sting special rule.
BRB Official Update Version 1.9, p.8: Q: Do Breath Weapon hits benefit from any other special rules, equipment or magic items of the model that inflicts the hits? (p67) A: No.

Envenomed sting is just poison, right? Breath weapons auto hit in HtH. So do stomps and thunderstomps, no need for poison on those.
