nope, I shall remain in my corner and grumble. Skull floor is one (or seventeen) giant skulls too far. I really like the rest of the model that's what makes it so annoying for me.
I did paint up a storm this month, finished the spearmen and even the second manticore rider with the cloak of doom. So, with another week or so to go this month I finished my challenge. I shall be bolder next month.
I hear ya, Naitsabes! I've been sick a lot this past week, so my painting schedule has seriously suffered too. Even when I was "better", I still just couldn't muster the desire to sit upright and paint. I'm going to be short of my projections, but as always, there is nothing hard-and-fast about sticking to these goals we set for ourselves. It's mostly like a painting-appreciation-support-group! Lol!
That being said, I have made some good progress on my Dark Elf BSB.
I actually had an itch to get this bad boy out and put some paint on it. I still have a long way to go with it, including some Green Stuff work, washing the bridge and tower, and then highlighting and drybrushing.
I saw that article too. Whoever did it certainly worked their magic, but it kinda looks like Skaven took it over and added onto it. Maybe that's what they were going for.
What I really like is the base. They added tons of detail on there! But...that thing has to be HUGE. The model already takes up tons of space on the table top, so unless you're playing with the terrain around it as playable, then you're blocking out a massive area.
My armies: Empire, Dwarfs, High Elves, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Skaven, Tomb Kings, Ogre Kingdoms, Orcs and Goblins, and Skitarii (40K).
