I can do the river sideways on the table. ^This is what I do. Mostly diagonal.

You are on fire strutsagget! I can add a further model to my month's tally. Also not on my original list. A Space Marine Librarian. As normal pic's posted in my SM Chapter thread - The Shadow Sentinels

impressive strutsagget!
I wonder if for long term you should put the cottage on a base of some sort. Don't you think some of the knick-knack might break off? Like a leg off that bench?

I really like the freehand banner. The blue maw teeth especially stand out. The green flame on the firebelly and the light it projects onto the ogre are looks nicely subtle.

strutsagget , I've been thinking about towers and wall quite a bit lately. One thing I really like about the tabletop world version is that wider base and the resulting angle. Could you do me a favor and measure a couple things on your tower? Width at base, width at the narrow middle part and height of the bottom part.

Of course and if you wait a while I can probably compare with Archon fortress but it's a while down my painting queue. The tower is; bottom 6”, middle 4,5” and then top 5,5”.

thanks. how high is the bottom part? then I can figure out the approximate angle of the wall on that bottom part.
Archaeon's fortress is super-gnarly. Not something a regular human would reside in. Looking forward to your painting though.

Wow, strutsagget! That tower looks amazing! I'm definitely going to have to save up some of my pennies for some of their stuff now!

I started this project this weekend as well, but I still have a way to go on it. The rider is mostly done though! More pics after I'm finished.
