This is the first draft of the Daughters of Khaine, Dark Elf variant army list. Note, part of the delay was that I'm working on the narrative background, which I'm taking the in an alternate direction than the end of the world. I need more time with that, so I'm hoping to include the background narrative in the 2nd draft of this list. I'm looking forward to comments and discussions regarding this army list... I like the rules - they're fitting and not over-complex. A few thoughts: - Khinerai - they were deliberately modelled to have more armour than Witch Elves. Sure, they're still half-naked, and have taken "breastplate" a little too literally, but the armour on their legs (which will be the main point of impact for a unit charging from the air) should be reflected with light armour in the rules. Also, their bladed shields are more curved than the Sisters of Slaughter ones, and very much meant to be a secondary weapon - could that be included in the rules too? Either as an additional hand weapon, or allowing some sort of reaction attack if they successfully parry.
- Sisters of Slaughter can switch their shield for an extra dagger in the AoS lot. Doesn't look so good on the models, but it may be worth allowing that option here.
- Can all characters take all the magic equipment from the Dark Elf book?
- Morathi - she's going to be extremely vulnerable as footslogging infantry if she can't join a unit. I know it complicates her transformation rules, but I'd really recommend allowing her to join units while infantry.
- Avatar - it seems like the kind of model that should have the Unstable rule (with a points reduction to reflect). Similar "avatar" type models tend to have this - from recollection, things like Forge World's Incarnates, and the Idol of Gork/Mork.

Hi Sedge,
Thanks for your feedback.
All the characters in the Daughters of Khaine army can take magic items from Warhammer: Dark Elves.
Regarding Morathi, while infantry, she could be placed within 3" of another infantry unit and gain a 4+ look out sir, followed by her 4+ ward (2+ ward against spells). I also don't want the Elf player to be able to hide her too much...
Def will look into and consider your other suggestions.
