Also - huge fan of the quads. Lookin' good for the holidays. Our little one is 4.5 months right now... If I ever have a rough night with Lizzie, I'll just come to this thread and say: "Ohhh, yeah, I only have 1..." What a great family.

Thanks, guys! Yes, I believe that banner is the one that comes with the Corsair kit, though, I bought the first 18 off eBay and added another 10 more from a box I bought at a LGS. I really like the kit! There are only so many variations of poses available, but they are very dynamic. It also comes with quite a few useful bits (like swords to go on a hip, etc).

If I ever have a rough night with Lizzie, I'll just come to this thread and say: "Ohhh, yeah, I only have 1..." What a great family. Lol. We hear that a lot, but since they had a 3 month stay in the NCIU, they are on a pretty good schedule. We feed them every four hours during the day, two at a time, and are usually done in about an hour. Our last feed time before bed is at 5:30/6, and then we lay them down. So far, then are really good about going to bed and staying asleep. That gives Leigh and I our nights to decompress until we have to get them up at 1:30/2 for their next feeding (we go a little longer during the night right now to get them used to sleeping through the night, which they'd probably do anyway, but they need the feeding for growth). It's all about preparation and organization. Fortunately, my wife is a 4.0 third grade teacher and a little OCD when it comes to things like that. I try to sit down at my workstation and put a little paint on my minis while they are taking naps or Leigh is working with them. Some days are worse than others, but it's still a good arrangement.

I put ours to bed at like 10:00 most nights... Then I try to paint as much as I can til midnight. Sometimes I just go til 1 or 2 (or later). When I show up at work at 7:00AM looking sleepy, every assumes "Up late with the baby". It's the perfect cover.
Glad you still have time to slap some paint around.

Haha! I do that too sometimes! But I usually can't stay up that late. Gettin' old sucks.

I (mostly) finished my Cold One Knights. I still need to do a little freehand work on the banner and do the bases (I'm going to finish all my painting first and then go back and do all of the bases at the same time). Anyway, here they are:

@ Wilson: Thanks! I like the Drow look too!
@ Rick: Yeah, I had just begun that banner when I took this picture. It'll still develop.

Well, I've gotten my horde of 30 (29 + Fleetmaster) Corsairs to a point where I'm satisfied with them. Thanks to wilsonthearc sending me 3 Corsairs which allowed me to round out the unit! Awesome! These are the Corsairs that wilson sent to me. He sent others as well, but these are the first that I've managed to get painted because I wanted to finish off this unit. They were technically an older version of a command group (back when GW used to sell packs of just command) but since I had already made a command group and I don't really see myself breaking up the unit, I converted the standard bearer into a dude wielding a spear as his additional hand weapon. This is the whole unit. Again, I'm holding off on finishing the bases until I complete painting the entire army.

More Dark Elves. This is the first of two Repeater Bolt Throwers. I still need to base it, but since I'm holding off on bases until the end, that will wait. I'm trying to decide if I want to paint the second one just like this one or go with a different color scheme for distinction. What do you guys think?

Although I enjoy your paint job on the Warlocks tremendously - - Legally speaking, I can never and will never say I LIKE Doomfire Warlocks.
They're just too good of a points deal and too good of a unit for me to ever want to oppose.
