Would be cool if there was a Lore of Water. (I might have to try writing a Lore like that. Could be fun.) Also, would have preferred him to be holding a trident WITHOUT the face. Personal preference. Overall, I like it though. Warhammer armies project in their 8th pirates of sartosa book have a lore of stromfels that could probably help I just looked that up and it's not bad. I'd make some changes to make it more congruent with 8th edition, but pretty close to what I was thinking.

Sweet. I just ordered that Water Wizard. I really want to try him out with this Lore of Water!

The more I look at the model the more I dislike it. It's just too busy, and there's a complete mish-mash of styles. There's a dwarven-esque face on his staff and belt, then it's covered with elven gemstones and has a very elven topknot. There's even gemstones on the pole of the staff?!?
I guess it must make sense in the 9th age world, but it doesn't fit well in WFB and it's not a good enough model to make me want to fit it in (unlike say the female Warrior Priest of AoW, which is great).
Still, if anyone can get it to work, it's Mottdon, so I look forward to seeing what you can do with it.

Makes no sense in 9th age. There's no water lore either.
The beard face symbols could be germanic, at a push - for empire. But it seems too loose in its aesthetic to be for 1 army, lol.

I think I like the IDEA of a Lore of Water more than the model. Honestly, I think he looks awfully heavy (metal armor, chains, etc.) to be surfing a wave like that. But I'm gonna give it a go. I've ordered one. We'll see how long it takes me to get him.

Similar to the Lore of Ice (Kislev)? I guess?

Similar to the Lore of Ice (Kislev)? I guess? Well, I'm writing a home-brew lore for friendly games. I've started with the above referenced army project lore, but I've made several changes to make it more congruent with 8th. I'll create a thread to see what you guys think about it. There's a lore of fire, so why not water? It's totally different from the Lore of Ice (which I want to try as well).

For me, he does not look like an Empire Wizard at all. I guess, he could function as a Kislev Frost Mage (but for the fact that there is no such option in the old Kislev Army List).

Bueno, bueno, bueno, qué tenemos por aquí Well, well, well, what do we have here??? avatars-of-war.com/collections/infernal-dwarfs Two new miniatures are available from today! This time, Infernal Dwarfs goodness: an Infernal Prophet and Vizier, ready to incinerate the enemy - as if it was not hot enough, at least here in Spain 🙂 These fantastic miniatures are the first of a new series of miniatures sculpted digitally by Lost Kingdom miniatures, and for which Avatars of War has obtained a license to print in-house, using the SLA 3D printing station in our new Barcelona warehouse, which utilizes the latest in SLA technology for the highest reliability and perfect detail. We are really excited about this new collaboration, the top quality of Lost Kingdom sculpts is the perfect opportunity for our brand new SLA printers to show off! This is really good news. Lost Kingdom Miniatures are great at (digitally) sculpting amazing models, which came via Kickstarters - but their stock after those Kickstarters was terrible and some time ago they moved to just doing 3D printing digital files. It's great the models will be available for those without 3D printers. Hopefully it works out for both them and AoW.

That IS really great news! Hopefully, with LK collaboration, they'll start churning out a LOT more models now! I've always wanted AoW to produce more stuff. I think these two joining forces, could really give GW some good competition!
