I've pretty much completed my Dark Elf one, and have crazily committed to writing ones for Wood Elves, Vampire Counts, Undead Legions, and Warriors of Chaos. Knoffles is working on a Dwarf unit guide, and Mottdon on Empire.
Any volunteers to take a crack at Bretonnia (Gregwarhamsters? It wouldn't take much to flesh out that overview), Beastmen (Knoffles?), Daemons (Ryrvak or Horace?), Chaos Dwarves, High Elves, Lizardmen, Ogre Kingdoms, Orcs and Goblins (KevinC?), Skaven, or Tomb Kings?
Even just re-posting an article from another site (with attribution) would do the job - but we really need at least a unit guide in place on this site for each race. We want people to be coming here to get their tactics advice, not browsing other sites, many of which are now dying so don't encourage participation with the hobby.

I could handle Lizardmen. Gregwarhamsters is probably our best bet at Tomb Kings. Definitely KevinC for O&G. Ryryak for Skaven? Just throwing out some ideas.

I’m happy to do Beastmen, though I’ll admit there are a number of things I’ve never taken and it will be a slow burn as I know how long the dwarves are taking.

I would do one for Tomb Kings, but - My actual IRL WIN/LOSS record wouldn't make anyone want to read my deranged musings.
I'll try. Spoilers. TL; DR:
1). Take as many Ushabti as you can fit in your special allowance; no other specials! Always w. GWs 2). Take both a level 4 Neherkhara and a level 4 Light caster. 4). Use the casters to speed up, buff, Augment (and resurrect) the Ushabti 5). Plop as many Necrotects as you can into the Ushabti to keep Hatred up as long as possible 6). Scrub some core skeletons, absolute minimum core points... try to not let them die (they're easy victory points, so easy) 7). Point the Ushabti towards opposing stuff, charge, smash, squish
Your hammer is better than their anvil. I guarantee it. Plus, your hammer will stitch itself back together over time. The heaviest hardest hitting renewing (renawable?) hammer that I ever did see.
Hmmm Maybe I could do 3000 words on this??

sedge, I have a couple of army book reviews saved down for High elves taken from the Ulthuan site + the 1dchan. Happy to amalgamate those. My 8th ed. HE playtime is extremely limited so it would mainly be a cut and paste. I also have a number of their tactica saved too (use of eagles etc) so could incorporate them. Finally I loved an army thread by Seradain based round the Cavalry Prince so I’ll try and fit some of that in too! I could do something similar for Bret’s but again it is just lifting from tothers posts on the Round-table, bell of lost souls etc. With regards to wood elves, I did link a word doc in the EEFL WE section. Although it doesn’t have an army book review (I’ve not added the 1dchan one yet), it does have a number of useful articles that might help. The link is below if you want it. www.dropbox.com/s/weeqchv6a38rotu/Wood%20Elf%20Tactics%20v.1.docx?dl=0

Lifting stuff is fine - I'll put you down for High Elves and Brets then! I've against High Elves a lot, but not much with them, otherwise I'd give it a go. Plus those guys over at Ulthuan.net have everything tested and examined in more than enough depth.
I saw that WE document - I might copy across a lot of that alongside the army guide I do - it's good to have things hosted directly on the site.

What's our preferred templating?

Something along the lines of: - Intro to army/why play them
- Army special rules and special (mundane) equipment
- Unit profiles: Lords/Heroes/Core/Special/Rare. I've then include other "fluffy" non-army book stuff (which for TKs would be things like the Khemric Titan)
- Magic items - primarily the army book ones, but a quick overview of non-army book ones that are particularly useful.
- Spells - any unique lore(s) covered in depth, and BRB ones just a quick overview
- Army builds, particularly a low-point starter army.

We also need more general guides, lores, movement, DEPLOYMENT! The one FvonSigmaringen is doing about reform is amazing! New people should be abel to come here and get help on how to master the game For me the better I become the more units/models become avaible. I do understand it might be hard. I will stalk some old youtubers and see if they can come back and write a guest post or two

I don't mind doing an Orcs & goblins one, and I kind of did a Daemons one already.
However I will say it will be my own personal take on things which is perhaps not that... mainstream.

Unconventional tactics are the most interesting - it's neither fun to play with nor against netlists all the time, so advice on using weaker units is good - or you're just wasting good-looking but "underpowered" models.
Would you be able to copy your Daemons advice across to the Chaos Tactics forum? It'd be easier for people to find there.
