Undead are probably my largest army - originally a Vampire Counts force, I added several Tomb Kings units between the End Times and the whole range being discontinued. I've got 4000 points painted (Nagash taking up a quarter of that), most of it painted a few years ago.
Zombies - 50 of them (with some unit fillers), with two command sets so I can field them in a couple of units if I want. They were painted very quickly over a white undercoat, and they seem to have chipped a bit through being chucked into the (very) "dead" pile too often, so I need to go over them again at some point. The blue and white uniform was that of an opponent's Empire army.
Skeleton Warriors - two units of 25, their hand weapon + shield combination makes them remarkably resilient in game - they often hold off units 2-3 times their cost. The "black" unit's most famous victory was slaying Festus and then defeating his accompanying unit of Chaos Warriors. They carry Festus's pudgy head on their banner pole as a permanent reminder of their heroics.
Skeleton Archers - 17 of them converted from VC Skeleton Warriors with TK Skeleton Archers parts. The musician is holding a crow aloft - the photo didn't capture it too well.
Ghouls - I'm not really happy with the colour I painted them - I think I just started painting them with whatever was to hand, without doing a test model or planning ahead.
Grave Guard - I love these guys. I've got another unit with sword/shield and von Carstein upgrades that are unpainted.
Dire Wolves - Fenrisian Wolves, because I didn't used to be keen on the official models. I'm not sure my Dire Wolves have ever killed anything.
Vargheists
Crypt Horrors
Black Knights - one of my favourite units, I think I've fielded them every game I've played. I got the (unpainted) Wight King because I felt they needed something extra to make them more reliable in combat - with a single attack each, it's too easy for them to fluff the lot. The Wight King is converted from the old Red Duke model.
Hexwraiths - I had to repaint this unit as the first paint job was so bad.
Blood Knights - it's shameful I haven't painted this unit, as they're one of my favourites both from fluff and looks. I've been promising to paint them for years, but maybe once my Dwarves are out the way, I'll blitz my part-painted models. This one is the closest to completion. I've also got a photo of my converted Vampire Lord who accompanies them, and who is similarly unfinished.
Bat Swarms - Reaper Bones models, the painting and basic is basic even for my standards on this army.
Banshee - I'm really not happy with how this model came out (and it was my second attempt to paint her), so at some point I may have to go back for a third pass. The robes look messy, and there's not enough variation in the colour - my wife keeps suggesting I paint its hair red.
Cairn Wraith - I'm much happier with him, even though I rarely field the model. Maybe with the new "Nighthaunt" models I'll have a go at fielding a unit of them.
Corpse Cart - one of my favourite models of all time. I painted this while ill, and I think that helped with the paint job
Morghasts - these are fragile (a wing detached after I took this photo), but they're good models and tend to do well in games - the size of them and unfamiliarity tends to scare opponents far more than they should.
Mourngul! - I love this beast, even if that face is a thing of nightmares.
Necromancer
Necrotect - unpainted, but converted from an Empire Wizard, whip from the Corpse Cart, Tomb Kings head, and hammer head from one of the Dwarf kits.
Screaming Skull Catapult - converted from a Mantic model. I really hate Mantic after making this - their models are such crap quality, I wouldn't buy one again. Still, with a lot of converting it looks good. I've tried to make my TK units look more Sylvanian where possible, so they fit into my primarily VC army better.
Spirit Hosts
Strigoi Ghoul King
Wight King - one of the best VC models around, and almost always appears in my army.
