That scorpion is fantastic. Simple, maybe, but also very effective and menacing.

Job well done. It all adds up to a complete army.

Job well done. It all adds up to a complete army. An army is never complete! And to prove that point, here's zombies #69 - #80: These are the Fireforge Games Living Dead Warriors - while they're styled off Game of Thrones Starks/Lannisters/Tullys, they work fine as soldiers from Stirland/Altdorf/Nuln.

That is plain weird. I love the use of the spare stegadon head

How many different kits in this madness? I count at least 6! Cool conversion and brilliant glue job getting it to balance like that. The joys of plastic models. Great stuff, a very eye catching miniature.

Thanks! There's some pinning via the "hand foot" but it's not the strongest of assemblies - it was a bit creaky while painting, but held firm. I think the kits involved are: - Giant (body, legs, the hand masquerading as a right foot, skeleton sign post).
- High Elf Griffon (wings, left talon hand)
- River Trolls (both arms)
- Stegadon (head)
- Lord of Change (neck)
- Black Coach (rider)
- Stonehorn (tail)
- Citadel Skulls (skulls, jawbones etc.)
- Cursed City (one of the gravestones)
- Mortis Engine (bony spines along the back)
- Mournfang Cavalry (the thinner horns on the head)
- Renedra gravestones
Other bits were the large bone the Necromancer sits on (no idea which kit it was from), the "brass knuckles" (can't remember either now), the back left talon foot with the blood drops (also can't remember), the right arm bladed armour (might even be a Dark Eldar part) plus modelling chains (ebay).
It was a real "empty the bits box" project. I'd wanted to build an Abyssal Terror for a long time, but had intended to use a spare Island of Blood Griffon as the body, until I ended up with the superfluous Giant. Of course, I still have the Griffon's torso, so I need to do something with that one day...
