Makes my heart smile, they rank up nicely!!! Going to use the chainrasp as raised models to fill out undead units as needed!! The wraiths are self explanatory, but the glaivewraith stalkers will be used to fill in for great weapon Grave Guard when I need more!! Nice! I was wondering how that might work! And those Nurgle monstrosities....truly hideous. KILL THEM ALL RIGHT NOW!!!

Nice! Are the faces of the wraiths separate pieces like on the WFB Cairn Wraith model? I don't like their blindfolds, so would want to replace them.

It’s the GW Chimera plastic model.

Crazy how a simple wash can make the mini look so much better!! Now on to highlighting and detail!

I wish I had known about washes back in the 90s. Maybe my models would have looked ok then Not sure when washes were first released? GW inks I guess was in the mid-90s?

They definitely had washes when I joined the hobby back in the mid-90s, with those octagonal pots with white lids. I think I've still got a few pots from back then... I remember being too cheap to buy gold paint, so using Flesh Wash over Boltgun Metal to get a gold effect.

GW released an ink set in the late 80’s actually. When they started releasing their paint sets, it was the last release. It came after a bunch of WD articles that showed their painters using colored inks.

Ok, more progress after the initial wash of Agrax. Two of the heads are starting to take shape! Thinking of red glazing the orange on the dragon head, thoughts? For such a large critter, the eyes are so damn small!!!!

I think that a medium glaze on the orange (and just a little bit of the red skin on either side of the orange) would look very appropriate and set that head apart from the others, nicely.

Small update! Finished the heads and highlighting on the upper body. Just have the green part to go, then the wings!! I did red wash the dragon throat, and like that very much! I think when all assembled, I’ll do an extreme highlight on the brown fur. Still thinking that one over....
