There's a size comparison for you Wilson! You can see one of my 6 Bowshabti there. I just wanted them playable so did a super quick paintjob on them. My bone giant i really like. The base when i did it i didn't have any materials for at the time so actually used some left over spices i had haha. It smelt like herbs for like 6 months but eventually the smell went away. That's awesome! I love this comparison! The Bone Giant does look really good and that model isn't a very easy model to make look that good! The herbs trick is nice! That base is the best looking one of the bunch!

How many armies are you running? Too many haha! Dwarfs are my main army. Chaos Dwarfs are my sentimental favourites. I also have forces of... High Elves Dark Elves Warriors (more like beasts) of Chaos Beastmen Tomb Kings Dogs of War Vampire Counts Daemons (small) Orcs and Goblins (small) So yeah i have gone quite crazy with my collection haha. Ogres and Wood Elves i don't have armies for but have the odd couple of models for. The good thing about my collection is that mates can come round and pick units/armies from what i have for a game. I have painted only a minority of what i own. However now i really enjoy painting.

Angron, a blood thirsty killer and one of the most ferocious and feared beings in the entire galaxy turns tail rather than face the irrepressible cuteness of Thu Snow. The whole Warhammer world quakes at this new arrival. Be afraid! Thu Snow painted and sculpted by my wife..... this entity makes Greater Daemons tremble. Eventually the mighty Primarch succumbs.....

My list goes something like: Empire ~ 10,000 pts (Nearly completely painted, but I really need to go back and repaint most of them since they were my first attempts at painting. ) High Elves ~ 10,000 pts (Nearly completely painted) Dwarfs ~ 10,000 pts (Nearly completely painted) Orcs & Goblins ~ 8,000 pts (Lots of RnF left to do) Wood Elves ~ 8,000 pts (Nearly completely painted) Lizardmen ~ 8,000 pts (Lots of RnF left to do) Tomb Kings ~ 6,000 pts (still relatively new. I haven't painted hardly anything yet and about 1/3 is still on the sprue.) Dark Elves ~ 3,000 pts (just started collecting these guys in August) I've also painted a few odd and end pieces here and there for friends. Ogres, Skaven, Vampire Counts, Wood Elves to name a few. Mostly to keep them interested and excited about the game. So, yeah, I feel you (and your wife's ) pain. It's a hunger that needs to be fed and never seems to be abated!

You are one of the few that has even more stuff than me haha! I still have a couple of your project logs to go through to check out your epic forces! I have shelves and shelves but don't think i can muster a full 10k point army from any one faction. It's a great hobby... there is always that new (or old) shiny which catches your eye and makes you want it.

Crystal Golem painted and ready for battle. Did this guy real quick. Not sure what rules to use for him yet. I like the eyes.

One of my random monster creations to one day paint. Just undercoated yesterday. I call this guy 'Slark' for any who play/know DOTA that is where the name stems from. Once painted he will have some sort of pounce attack.

Very cool! Is that Crystal Golem from Reaper? How does it compare in size with a normal troop? I've been looking for a good model to represent the Hold Guardians (for Dwarves) that the 9th age crew introduced. I've found some good ideas out there, but I'm still trying to decide.

I love the character and humor of their army book.

Yeah it's Reaper. That might not be its actual name but it's what i call it. I got mine for $6 from the Bones range. I couldn't resist. There's a size comparison for you. Hopefully that helps. It's imo a decent size for a hold guardian. I was initially going to base it on a 40mm square but it stands up on it's Reaper mini base so i figured I'd just leave it and save my 40mm bases. I'll play it as if it is on a 40mm and it's imo just big enough to be monstous infantry or the new 'super infantry' like Blightkings.
