mottdon Cheers for the lovely painted Terrorgheist big fella! He got in good work in this one before he was shot down by the bolt thrower whose effectiveness in this game would make Bard the Bowman (Hobbit) look average. The titanic clash with the Avatar left the Necrofex Colossus on 1 wound and the heroic bolt thrower took him out for the win. Kill tally Necrofex killed Papoose, Dark Avatar and the Avatar for a total of 925 points. 275 point pick Bolt thrower (the other one ran off the board doing nothing after failing a terror test) killed the Wight BSB, Terrorgheist and Necrofex for 650 points.

Yup, sounds like a fun game!
On a related note: seeing that oval "gaming table" I was reminded once more that this shape isn't all that bad for gaming. I mean: how often do you really use the corners of the board? Yes, still more often than in the likes of 40K, but still. If I had to cut corners on gaming space - pun intended - I'd do it like this.

BoJo the Giant is now ready for battle. Something a bit different than the usual skin tone. Something about the model (maybe it's the top knot) gives me djinn vibes. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out and he's now ready to join his friend Ferdinand in battle. I took a photo when they both arrived together from eBay as they originally were. When I look at them now compared with the original photo I think to myself, "We came a long, long way together" ..that reminds me...I really need to finish that Ferdinand based battle report.....

Lol! Now that you mention it, he DOES very much have a Djinn look! All he needs is a bottom half of "smoke" and blue skin! And yeah, it's probably the top knot.

Nice job, grandmasterwang. you made the world a better place by rescuing those two giants and giving them a proper paint job.

Fixeruperer chariot from my flgs which I'll put a Beastman behind the odd orc. A couple of pictures from a winery gallery over the weekend made me think of Warhammer. The artist who thripped up this elephant/mosquito mix clearly has a potent supply of warpstone snuff to inspire him!

Yeah it's definitely scratch built. I've finished fixing it up now and painted up a Bestigor for the back of the chariot to add it to my beastmen army. I'm thinking I'll use it as a back up chariot for both Beastmen and OnG. I'm happy with how it turned out from what it was. The base is much more tolerable to me now. I may add a tuft or 2 at a later stage.
