I gotta know, do you guys want to keep this monthly painting challenge thing going? I may be wrong, but interest seems to really be waning. There aren't very many participants anymore and few comments in the threads. I don't want just to be creating a double-post slog-fest for people here. What do you guys want to do?

I appreciate them - giving myself a target with a deadline makes me much more likely to actually get on and paint things. I think I need to be better at posting WIPs though, as recently I've just been posting my target and then an image of the completed unit. I also like seeing the progress of people painting their models - the WIP photos help you pick up new techniques/approaches.

I've been busy painting again actually. I will say I am going to get "some" hobgoblins done, Grom finished, and a few orc boyz started
I'll try and take a few WIP pics of where I'm up to

Okay, well as long as there is still interest and I'm not wasting anyone's time.
For this month, I think I'll try to wrap up several projects that have been loitering around my desktop for quite some time now.
Bastiladon Stegadon 10 Chaos Dwarfs (for GMW) 5 Cold One Riders Ogre Ironblaster Random models that strike my "in the moment" fancy

For me, it's 30 Thunderers + 9 warmachine crew. They're part-painted at the moment, with metal/green cloth/flesh done (except for 3 models I need to get the flesh done on). Then I'm onto wood, beige coloured cloth, hair/beards, leather, gems and final details. A couple of very quick and not well-taken photos of my desk/the Thunderers: I'm away for a week this month, so it's going to be a struggle to complete these all. Once they're done, though, I've just got Gyros and characters left for my Dwarf army.

I like having the monthly 'challenge' threads. I had to skip a couple but am getting back on the horse this month. It's true that there is quite a bit of overlap to people's project logs. Maybe this could be the place for half-painted quick snaps and also to advertise your project log with one teaser pic of the gorgeous final product?
My goal for this month is painting one big block of chaos dwarfs wielding unwieldy great weapons (assembly is painful and I am only halfway there). That is all...and it is likely too much already.

That's probably a good idea, Naitsabes. We should limit our "final product" to one pic and maybe add a link to the thread that the rest of the pics will be, if the viewer wants to see more.

I like the monthly threads. I know I've painted more stuff by having them than I would have without.

Here are a few pretty shonky photos of my WIP. I've cobbled together a larger base for Grom and got most of the basecoating done. Might actually get my pledge done! (Possibly)

I have two sets of Fenrisian Wolves, but I decided that the old school wolves fit Grom and his boy better than the F-wolves.
