The arm muscles on the guys with their right hands up...the sculpting looks off. I realize they are sculpting using computers now and this may account for the issues some of us have with these figs. I don't care for the lizard mounts, the helmets, any of it. It's too bad because the recent-ish plastic slayer guy leaping looked great.

Yeah, I'm afraid that it's getting too far away from the "Craftsman Dwarf" fluff and going too high-fantasy.

A lot of great models there, though I have a couple of complaints. Slayers with shields is just wrong. So is every model looking like a hero. But other than that I see a lot of useful material for any Dwarf player.
And it looks nothing like anything Mantic could ever even dream.

Huh. So I suppose GW is pushing the whole "Fire" theme with Dwarfs now. I wonder if that has anything to do with Ungrim becoming the Fire Incarnate during the End Times? That could also make sense why they all seem to be Slayers, since he was and he also wore armor. But yeah...Shields on Slayers suck.
BTW, who remembers how Ungrim died during ET? I forgot.

A stubborn old dwarf player talking here who doesn't like change... I won't be getting any of these. Dwarves ride steam operated machines they built and slayers don't have helmets or shields. But I understand that AoS is a different game with its own fluff so for AoS this release may make sense. I just don't see me using any of this in my army.

Just went through the preorder pics on the GW page. I f'n hate these models. I had high hopes for the AOS products (khorne stuff is excellent) but these stink. I'll even ignore the fluff changes to the dwarfs, but everything about these is off, especially the poses and anatomy.
