Looks like you made the same mistake I did - modifying the horse, but not the rider. As a result, the rider looks... awkward. When the horse rears up, the rider leans forward in the saddle - possibly even putting your weight in the stirrups and rising up out of the saddle entirely - to keep his balance. If you don't, it's far too easy to lose your balance and potentially fall right off the back of the horse.
So when the rider is left perpendicular to the barrel of the horse like this, any raised weapons start looking less like 'trying to motivate the troops and demoralize the enemy' and more like 'flailing around trying not to fall off the horse'...
It's long irked me in my own modified model. I'm just not sure how to go about fixing it.

All your work is really good. Your Bretonnians look gritty and realistic. It makes me want to start a new army too.

Was thinking about it when i made the horse, but i decided to go with it becouse i dont want to chop the metal miniature in half.
Now when i'm done i dont really think about it as you mention

I dont like knights where they look to shiny and have perfect washed cloth, I'm imagining they where dirty from living situations and worn from battle

How comes I am finding this thread only now ?
Incredible models, I love all your Bretonnians, especially the trebuchets. They are fantastic.
I also reaaaaally like this blood dragon knight hero/lord, I got the exact same one myself that I am going to paint real soon.
I will try something similar with the color scheme you gave him, it looks really cool.
Good job Sir !

Great speed painting results with the Gor. The conversion with the Bestigor head is very noticeable.

Completed all my bases for the gors! With 3 unit fillers, two of them are 50x50 and one 75x50. The banner is made out of greenstuff and toothpicks, this was also my first freehand banner. Also painted up two Razorgors. Wanted to make the look like zombie, with a lot of inflammation in the skin. 75x50 unit filler 50x50 unit fillers Image of all my painted Beastmen. Think i will start working on four Chariots next, tired of painting gors (got 16 more to paint)

The paint jobs on those Razorgors are great. It's still a terrible model, but nonetheless, the painting and colours are really impressive.

Thanks for yuor kind words I know, tried to find some alternative models but found nothing that fitted better. Was first thinking of getting Ironjawz Orc Gore Gruntas but the orc legs are casted on the pig.
