I would suggest a murderous character with OTS if you're struggling with their wards. 15 points is a bargain. If someone is running a PG deathstar they are asking for one of the no saves of any kind spells to be dropped on their heads

10 Sisters of Slaughter with Bloodwrack Shrine. You've got a ward save of your own, Dance of Death eliminates the PG's rank bonus to combat result while you have 5 ranks of your own (should break Steadfast) and reduce their Leadership, so there's a good chance there of breaking them first round.

I thought all DE tactics of killing stuff revolved around throwing a horde of witch’s into combat perhaps with the filthy peg master as well?

Witch Elves work (I've been on the receiving end of that match up) as they do against most things, but it's a grind and there are better match-ups for them. Plus they can be redirected away due to their Frenzy. Pegasus Masters are great, but throwing them into Phoenix Guard is one of the last roles I'd use them for - the OTS is the only thing they've got going for them to help kill PG, and if they take that they haven't got a decent ward save. Of course, if you really want to do it the Druchii way, a Witch Elf/Cauldron of Blood horde in the front, Hydras in each flank, and then the Pegasus Master(s) in the back. Cast Word of Pain at the same time for maximum effect

You will need more then 10 sister though as you loose steadfast fast. As first model and then every 2 models lost reduce rows.
