Glad I saw that as I will never buy norba then, the clean up work looks horrendous.

Yes, they seem to be a rather coarse GW rip-off. I guess, changing all those race names for IP purposes did not really pay of... Yeah, that was the number one reason I left 9th age when it was getting started. I couldn't identify anything and it was just too much of a hassle for something that'll be abandoned as soon as GW comes out with their "new" fantasy version - which we now know is coming. I'm afraid the Screaming Bell is tolling for 9th age.

I'm afraid the Screaming Bell is tolling for 9th age. I couldn't agree more. There's deffo a sense of impending doom, imo. A good 4-5 people in my local group have full on embraced T9A and are sure that it'll be OK afterwards, given that it'd be more grounded by the time TOW arrives. One of them doesn't know any better, having only played T9A and has only heard of the "horrors" of 8th ed (Purple sun etc). Im assuming not an immediate death sentence to T9A. But deffo a wound that'll cause bleed out.

Well, I'm definitely not saying that EVERYONE will leave it, no, I'm sure it'll still have it's die-hard fan base, much like those of us here have been for 8th, but just as players left 8th for AoS, 9th age will lose players to TOW when it comes out, if for no other reason than GW is backing it. New, fresh GW minis are always a huge draw. And I'm sorry, Norba, AoW, and others who "support" it, just don't come close to what GW produces. Volume as well as quality.

Yeah, and the main reason people play T9A is because 8th was no longer supported. With a supported "legacy" version cropping up, it's exactly what peoe want. Albeit minus the T9A hard-core we've mentioned 😊

Yeah, I expect T9A will have a tournament scene that still exists once The Old World is released, but I also think the events will become smaller and less frequent as they will see very few new players.
I understand why T9A 2.0 went further away from WFB but I wish the rules were still closer as I'd go to T9A events if there was more rules overlap.

I really like that ramshackled abode. Definitely has a good Empire farmstead feel.
I like the pirate Dwarves- may make good variants for Long Drong's Slayers with a bit of conversion?

Nice Dwarfs, but certainly the one above with the rifle looks more Warcraft than Warhammer.
