strutsagget: Good, then, that you could not buy it last year, or you would be even poorer now...

Resin Warfare - www.etsy.com/es/shop/ResinWarfareOne of a new trend of Etsy sellers popping up who make and sell (under licence) models from STL files made by other companies. These lot have Lost Kingdom Miniatures models for sale, and various others. Useful, given Lost Kingdom designed some great stuff but don't seem interested in making it. There's Lizardmen, Tomb Kings, Brets and more. Sent from Spain, so expect postage to be as reliable as ever from there (it may arrive this decade). It's also not cheap. Another lot doing similar - www.etsy.com/ca/shop/SigmariteBoutique?section_id=30865101Highlands Miniatures seem to be a popular designer for their Bret and Undead stuff. They've got far too many models for me to want to post all their photos, but this struck me as a cool Shard Dragon (from Monstrous Arcanum): The sacrificial victim, not so much.
Wood Axe Miniatures - a small Etsy outfit but they actually sculpt their stuff - I think I've posted a couple of bits before. Here's a dwarf airship: www.etsy.com/uk/listing/774368700/dwarf-sky-bomber?ref=shop_home_active_7

Norba have their great Necrosphinx model back in stock on their online store, alongside their Heirotitan. They had originally removed it because they were changing their material from resin to plastic, and I’m assuming they’ve brought the Necrosphinx back because they’ve made some moulds for making it in plastic, but the page says it’s still resin. This might be because they’ve forgotten to update it to say it’s plastic, or maybe they’ve given up with their plastic idea and are just rereleasing some of their resin models again.

Damn that face is very like the GW model.

Mantic recently had an online seminar that showed some of their upcoming projects, and for Kings of War they've promised a full Salamander range. Because Mantic's Salamanders have some considerably different units to GW's Lizardmen, not all of them will be usable in official Fantasy of course, but there is some stuff there that would be of great use and anyone can have a go at writing custom rules for anything that's not, like these impressive Rhinosaur Monstrous Cavalry: Also later on in the year they've planned to release some Halflings, including an infantry and cavalry combi-set: Those of you who are enjoying using KevinC's Allied Contingent or Matthias Eliasson's fully-fledged army book covering these little guys will have a whole new range of miniatures to build your army with. The details of both planned releases can be seen here: www.manticgames.com/news/mantic-fest-recap-kings-of-war/

Nice, I am someone who has always been quite down on Mantic based on the quality of some previous model purchases over the years but recently seeing that Giant and now these, will have to look seriously at what else they produce as they look great.

Fireforge are due to launch a new KS soon but this time for plastic dwarves. I know nothing more at this point but generally I’ve had good dealings with this company.

Their humans + undead were generally excellent kits - I got in late on that kickstarter. But the dwarves don't appeal as they're more LoTR type dwarves in aesthetics than WFB ones.

Those Dwarfs wouldn’t look right for Warhammer Fantasy, but make a great plastic alternative for those who want to play the awesome Iron Hills Dwarves from the Hobbit in the Middle Earth Strategy Battle game, without having to pay Forge World’s ridiculous prices.
