Why does his magic weapon not work when he is fielded in a unit of Skeleton Chariots? -----It does work in that case, to heal other chariots, I was referring to the Tomb King rules for resurrecting warriors saying that it does not effect characters or their mounts, unless otherwise specified. Arkhan's Tomb Blade does not otherwise specify - it's strange he can't heal his own chariot. That's true. For the most part I never really rely on the sword anyways. It's best to keep him out of combat.

Ah, I see you're a Pollbringer over here as well NIGHTBRINGER ! I said Settra because, you know, Settra doesn't serve... he rules, especially on the battlefield! Jokes aside, because Settra's a chariot character, he's pretty fast moving (I know he can't march, but he's fast moving for a TK unit at least) and both Settra and his chariot have a 4+ Ward, which is great for protecting him against such stuff as cannonballs. While he might not be able to defeat entire units head on by himself because chariots are pretty weak in 8th (if not all editions of Fantasy), I'd bet Settra is pretty dangerous if you get him into an enemy's flank (markedly easier to do for a mounted or chariot character even in an undead army) just as a unit of Tomb Guard or horde of Skeletons hits them in the front - that unit will then take most of the flak while Settra is free kill stuff.

Hello everybody... My preference goes to Khatep I play him in my list and he is solid. Knowing all the lore and avoiding miscast ..... priceless.
I tried to play Arkhan .For sure he is a "star" but - sometimes in tournament( such ETC) lore of Death has some restrictions -lore of death is not healing our troops like lore of Nehek does. -lore of death is not buffing and I think we need buff spells for making our army work.
Khalida also is really good but - bow 's range is 24" and sometimes this factor is a limit , considering the huge investment in archers we are called to do. - our archers cannot stand and shoot ( and it 's another limit, Imho) - all the strategy is slowing down the enemy and shoot but I think in warhammer "light " fire doesn't make you win - something will arrive after 2-3 turns and then the opponent will start to smile and you ..to cry

let s' image to play against Ogre kingdoms... you will probably shoot on his death star but even if weakened ...they will arrive you to land you punches you won 't forget . Or maybe you target what ? his mammuth ? ok but this will take 1 precious turn of fire or his cannons ? ( normally you see 2 of them ) ...and ok so 300 points but ogre will be untouched
it's just an example you cannot slow down forever the enemy and you are investing a lot of points in a huge archers unit very difficult to manoeuvre.

Settra rules ...but - I hate the shape of his chariot which is not fitting nicely in a chariot unit - he is expensive for what he does - he has a good protection but still he is fragile - you cannot deploy him without that f...antastic chariot ;-)

Lots of love there for Ramhotep, which I guess is okay if you're happy to leave the Spinxes, Scorpions, Ushabti, Stalkers, Colossi and Hierotitans on the bench, but what's the fun in that?
