Lizardmen look really good with bright bold colors. Good work.

I like the classic blue scheme and the Vet on the right hand side really stands out.

They look great, lovely colours. Speed or not, looks real ncie! These Cold Ones, which ones are they? I remember the 5th Ed (?) ones that the DEs had too, raptor like. But these are not them? And then some more, slower looking in plastics, more, level to the ground iirc?

Such a awesome colorful army. I can't wait to see them when they're all done.

No idea what edition they were released.

I have to say Knoffles, I've followed a lot of your threads on here & Bugmans, and your painting has come on leaps & bounds. Some of these do look 'near pro' level... Compared to those pink dwarfs Great job!

I’m really liking painting Lizardmen, as you can really go to town with various different bright colours and having not used warlock purple in a while and with withdrawal symptoms kicking in (😉), it felt only right that I dug it out and used it as the basis of at least one unit in the army! Being a particularly predatory unit in the fluff, also leant weight to having a bright scheme. These are also becoming a favourite unit to field with my Lizards (or more correctly - 2 units of 3). Stick them up each flank and then swing them in to cause some mischief.

Skink priest. Always annoying when you look at shots and realise you have forgotten to paint the eyes!

Avatars of War Salamander. Nice sculpt but the casting is just OK. Thankfully its predominately one piece. Lacking a huge amount of inspiration, I went with several shades of orange, including drybushing with some reds and yellows. It seemed particularly apt for a firebreather if cliched.

The salamander looks a lot more aggressive than the gw sculpts.

I’ll be doing the same for my salamanders that just came in yesterday. Red-orange skin with a gradient to yellow fins. Softer colored underbelly as well is my plan. Perfect job for an airbrush.

The salamander looks a lot more aggressive than the gw sculpts. it’s more of a throwback to the older (5th?) edition sculpt that also had the big fin. The current GW salamander I think is a terrible sculpt. I tend to love Trish’s work but that’s one I just can’t find anything I like about it.

These are great. I especially like the wings on the flyers.
