This thread will mainly be about terrain, scenery, monsters, or anything else not directly tied to a Warhammer army. First post is for a stone. It could be used as a regular landmark, a bane stone, or whatever. This is just a little rock glued onto a 50 mm base.

Cool idea. Looks like it was quick and easy to make but is effective and looks good!

Damn that's pretty big.
I like the thought of a necrotect trying to turn/carve it into a Ushabti or something.

Really nice mate. Are you using them for LoTR or do you have other plans.

Really nice mate. Are you using them for LoTR or do you have other plans. I have a small LoTR collection, so I could. But, I really enjoy having wild beasts "intervene" in my Fantasy battles. But the Grand Plan is, at some point, I will set up a territory-based domination campaign for the players in my group and wild beasts will be part of random encounters. So, I plan to have a solid collection of beasts, monsters, giants, dragons, etc. that help spoil/spice up the overall experience. Giant spiders cannot be overlooked. I'll probably get several more Mirkwoods, and then get a really "Big One." I hope the Shelob model will work for that.

Great colour choices for the cockatrice, and those spiders are so realistic I want to get a large book out to deal with them...

That cockatrice looks amazing mate, really well done. Almost looks like a real animal. Those spiders are also giving me the creeps. I'm not sure how you managed to paint them, something this arachnophobia inclined man child can never achieve due to probably refusing to touch one. Anyhow, nice stuff man!

Spiders seem to be my plague. I think I'll do a few more on my next round of creatures. Then I'll move on to other things.
