Those rock formations in particular look great for an ambush.

Here's a few more scenery items I recently finished. These all came from Majestic Miniatures on Etsy. A couple of these are a little more specialized. While I like the scenery suggestions in the official book, I enjoy putting together my own scenery entourage with unique rules for my own version of the Warhammer world. You can check out my blog if interested in the house rules. I try to keep them simple. But, I don't have house rules yet for the Beast Cave. I'm thinking about a distance trigger that prompts a D6 roll. Given the right result a wild beast emerges. The beast would be neutral to both armies, and would depend upon what the players have in their repertoire. They could predetermine what's in there, or randomly choose from a list of options they have. (I mainly have spiders and bears at this point.) But then I'm thinking about a random reaction table kind of like the Monster's killed handler reaction table. Either a D3 or D6 list of reactions like "Guard in Place", or "Charge Nearest Unit", or "Flee in a Random Direction", "Return to the Cave", "Move Forward D3 inches"... things like that. I welcome any suggestions. I'd prefer a D6 list of reactions since I like variety. I'm about half way through posting all the scenery I recently completed. So expect 2-3 more posts very soon. Here's the next batch of scenery. The Dwarf Sentinel Stone. It seems like this was supposed to be part of a larger assembly, but I only have this piece. The Mage Stone: Looks like a large headstone. But, very fun to paint. The same design is mirrored on the back side. Gore Pits or Charnel Pits:

These are your best ones yet I think. Orions root and the peasant hut are amazing.

Amazing looking model, and a great and really unique choice of colours too. It looks utterly menacing.

Wow that's very scary looking. A lot more than with a standard colour scheme.

Here's a bunch of miscellaneous projects I've been working on recently. I call this one the Shadow Tiger. Mostly for fun. I enjoy wandering creatures in Warhammer. It's a metal model. I think I got it from Reaper, or something like that. These are some ponds. I cut them out from plasticard and painted them. Easy. Skull piles/walls. 3D printed from Majestic Miniatures Etsy shop. Colossal Ribs. 3D printed from Majestic Miniatures Etsy Shop.Giant Tree Trunks. 3D printed from Majestic Miniatures Etsy Shop. Black Skull Cave. 3D printed from Majestic Miniatures Etsy Shop. And finally, a watchtower. 3D printed from Majestic Miniatures Etsy Shop. This one took the longest. And as a bonus: I finished all the miniatures for Scythe. One of my favorite boardgames. 42 miniatures in all. I've been busy this winter! Now I'm looking forward to getting back into building my armies.
