Lot of core troops on the "last chance to buy", including Dwarf Warriors, Thunderers, Quarrellers, Organ gun, cannon and more!

Beat me to it. Annoyingly loads of the stuff became no longer available almost immediately.

Slowly killing off the Fantasy armies we once knew. 😞

Just woke up and now I'm super depressed. Some of those kits were new, too, like Dragon Princes. An era is ending.

Bear in mind that the "Last Chance to Buy" filter does not show everything that is actually going. You might need to scroll through all the Order kits to find that.

I still intend to get an Empire army one day, and thankfully most the plastic kits remain. I'm annoyed I've missed out on the Empire Archers, plus the Captain with KF on his hammer, and especially the plastic Empire General/BSB kit I've just gone and ordered an overpriced General/BSB set from Amazon, as that kit is brilliant and I don't want to miss it.
Thankfully I've got the High Elves, Woodies and Dawi I want already. I did ponder Volkmar but I don't want another one of those impossible to paint ornate wagons, plus I see my Empire army as being a Border Princes one. I don't have the HE dragon kit, but I've got a FW Carmine Dragon I'll probably use for that eventually.
The small plus side is that those kits that survive the purge should now be with us for at least a few years, and while they'll be reboxed (with round bases) they'll probably be in larger sets (so better value... if you want more, though given WFB unit sizes you usually do) and should be available through other sellers with a further discount on GW's prices.
Also, with Dwarf Warriors now gone, the time is ripe for Avatars of War to re-release theirs in hard plastic!

Sedge, if you're looking at archer alternatives the Perry War of the Rose's line are really good. The plastic kit is good value for money. I got 20 archers and 19 billmen out of it. Can easily change the bill heads for halberds or spears if that's what you want.
Edit:Generally I'm not too worried about Empire alternatives (although some of the GW ones were nice) as there's so many medieval / psuedo-fantasy humans out there through third parties

I'm most concerned about the High Elves and Dwarves. I haven't found many Dwarf third party kits I like and I'm not aware of any third party High Elves. The Dragon Princes in particular, I love that kit.

Avatars of War do fairly decent Dwarf replacements. I quite like their plastic slayers. Hopefully they're not going anywhere as I want to invest in some when I do some more on my dwarves!

I’m with you Imrik on the dwarfs, I’ve not found very much for dwarfs I like. That said, I do like the AOW dwarfs, their just short on the regiments still. I emailed them a a couple days ago to beg them to make Longbeards lol.
Scibor miniatures has some decent dwarfs as well, but generally they are expensive. I’d probably be okay buying the odd individual model from them, but not regiments, they want more money than GW.

I'm pleased I don't need any more Dwarfs.

Aaaannnd it's all gone. All out of stock on the UK website. Their press release for this said that some of it would be back in Made to Order later this year, right? That's my only hope since I missed it all.
