I feel like it has no depth to it. It is not really a challenge. All I can really do is do different colors, but it isn't as much fun as skin, fur etc. That show real depth.

That looks like a super tough model to paint. Looking forward to seeing it done.

Here is some progress. The machine has a magnet to place it on the base so it stores easily

I figured the machine was boring, so I got started on the crew. Skin is mostly set. Hair is started. Clothes and weapons are done just before details.

I think you are a bit harsh to that poor crazy machine. but, moving right along you are. I don't quite understand the guy in the middle. where is his right arm? I suppose all will be revealed once you post another angle.

That's actually the head of his hammer. His hand is slightly behind him.

really awesome. I like the crazy highlights on the hair. Not sold on the metal axe shafts. seems like a missed opportunity for making the machine less all-metal.
what's the base?

3d printed base. I see what you are saying about the axes, but up close they are way too smooth to pass of a wood real easily. I tried and it looked pretty gnarly.
I love my slayer hair. Been doing it now through over 50 miniatures with 10 more to come.

They are not detachable. I only used the slotta bases to hold them during painting.
