I couldn't find the old thread easily, so here's a new.
strutsagget & knoffles and everyone else who is involved in this endeavour (please tag and spread the word to all involved members), harken, for I bring good and bad news from Mingol Zharr-Naggrund the Great, also known as Chaos Dwarfs Online.

I know you've done great job at compiling and processing Daemonsmith's Handbook threads here on EEFL. Previously I've assured you that you could take however long on-and-off as you felt like to complete this work, yet circumstances have changed.
The good news is that Chaos Dwarfs Online is being rebooted as of this year! Check out our new Discourse forum, which we are still testing out: www.chaos-dwarfs.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=72
New CDO have that crucial feature of direct image upload. Easy-peasy. No more relying on third party hosts for sharing pictures, although that is still possible to do on Discourse. We will also carry over all resources to new CDO from old, by hand, over a very lengthy transition period. This include homebrew army books, art, tutorials and much else.
However, where does that leave the Daemonsmith's Handbook? We do not know yet, but the staff may decide to copy it over without giving it a subforum of its own in order to avoid ghost town sprawl. Or make wiki articles out of it.
Later this year I will slave away at manually copying and transferring all manner of content from old to new CDO, and I hope you won't be amiss if I suggest that you, too, could do the same over coming months, if you've got time to spare and willingness to tackle the issue.
If you could complete the processing and transfer of the Handbook to EEFL, then that would be swell. Moreover, I hope to piggyback on your efforts in this particular instance: You're processing all comments in the Daemonsmith's Handbook threads for a final edition (something which I'm ill suited for, having a very poor grasp of rules and gaming side of things). And when you're done, I'd like to copy the final fruit of your labours, and enshrine it as wiki articles on new CDO, due credit given to your sterling compilation work.
How does this sound?
