Hello everyone. Quick question: if a nurgle sorc on a palanquin successfully casts a spell and then rolls a 6 to gain +1 toughness and wounds does the extra wound get added to the palanquin or the sorc? Because he's on a monstrous mount he would be using the mounts wounds, so would his bonus wound be added to this wound count? My worry being this: if we add the wound to the sorc it's meaningless, unless it happens twice for a sorc lord or three times for a sorc, in which case we would need to switch which would profile we're using mid game, which seems wrong to me. Can anyone clarify?

Your worry is warranted. The increases would be added to the sorcerer's characteristics, since the lore Attribute specifies: "On the roll of a 6, the Wizard’s Wounds and Toughness are both increased by 1 for the rest of the game." That said, you cannot switch. The English version may indeed give the wrong impression, because it states (BRB p. 83 updated) "monstrous cavalry always use the highest Toughness and Wounds characteristics the model has," which would seem to allow for switching. However, as far as I know, everyone interprets this as "characteristics on the profile," and thus not affected by any changes. That this is, in fact, correct is confirmed by the French BRB which, as so often, is more precise: "la cavalerie monstrueuse utilise toujours la meilleure valeur d’Endurance et de PV de ses deux profils" (monstrous cavalry always use the highest Toughness and Wounds characteristics of its two profiles).

So in effect the lore attribute (in regards to wounds) is worthless if I put a sorc on a palanquin. The toughness would still increase as I'd be using the sorcs toughness to begin with. Ok, thanks.
